"Very nice customers, always very polite. The reason it took so long is because this pool was built in the late 70's - early 80's. The tile and coping had to be special ordered from (SCP) (took a few weeks to be located from another SCP location then shipped), along with the cartridge filter having to be ordered from the same local pool supply house (SCP) in Harahan Louisiana. We also added some new drainage for the customer in the back yard. The home owner behind this customers residence (the yards are back to back) had a swimming pool leak that was draining water into this customers yard. It took the neighbors 3 days to stop the leaking pool therefore delaying the our work even with using a pump to pump the water out. This is the main reason the drainage was added. The customer was informed that we were not going to work on the weekends for his project and the customers wife was given our Thanksgiving Holiday work schedule as well. This was not a typical repair due to the age of the pool. The delivery time of special ordered products is beyond the control Platinum Pools and Spa LLC."
