This company has been in business for 35 years, and over the past five years, my experience with them has been nothing but professional, responsive, and dependable. They spent countless hours helping with the design and construction of my new pool, always allowing me to make changes and showing incredible patience throughout the process. Worst pool company in South Mississippi, they sent a kid who looked like he was 12 to my house for a cleaning and he left it worse than it was before he got there, complained to owner on the phone and he gets attitude real fast and if you refuse to pay they will sue you very quickly, I have bad mouthed to them every person I know in Pearl River county, changed some peoples minds also about continuing to use them, if you need any type of pool work done DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!

If you choose to do business with Playtime Pools, I strongly recommend getting a written estimate upfront, confirming the hourly labor rate, and being present while the work is completed. I was charged $150 per hour for 3 hours of labor to replace a union on my pool pump?which involved cutting and gluing PVC?and to put my liner back into place on two corners. I was billed $450 for labor alone. I was also charged roughly three times the retail cost of the union. I disputed the labor time and charges with the company, but they have stood by the invoice and are requiring payment in full. Based on my experience, make sure you know the hourly rate beforehand, get the scope of work and estimated labor time in writing, and keep track of how long the technicians are actually on site.
