Unprofessional and unethical. I had a gas leak on a 46 year old valve (1979) connected to a copper pipe in the basement, which goes outside. AHS assigned it to this company. I couldn't wait 2+ weeks with a gas leak in my basement so I got my local handyman to temporarily replace the valve so we could at least shut it off. Technician from Dave & Sons confirmed 2 weeks later that we needed a new gas line due to copper. He did not know how deep gas lines had to be buried in the yard. He said he thought it was 3 feet (it's not). He also said they don't often do gas lines. He also said they would most likely pass on the job. He ended up lying on his report and saying the issue was "improper installation", which led to a claim denial by AHS. I guess they really didn't want to do the job, but they didn't have to screw me over. I had to hire another company out of pocket. They cost me 1.5 months and thousands of dollars for something AHS should have covered.

Our initial visit with Dave & Sons was fantastic. Unfortunately, they ghosted us to return for the same issue, less than 2 weeks after being there the first time. In those 2 weeks, I called 6 times and left 6 voicemails. No return call, no acknowledgement, NOTHING! Their worker indicated that there would be a 30 day warranty if the toilet clogged again. We lived with a clogged toilet for 2 weeks giving the plumbing company the benefit of the doubt. Very disappointed and unprofessional. If you didn't want to return, you could have least answered the phone or returned the call to let us know. We called in another plumber who addressed the issue and charged HALF the cost! I would highly recommend Kerstetter Plumbing to everyone. Very prompt in returning calls.

Very reliable professional. We learned about them through a home purchase insurance program. They did some work, it was very good and we had hired them for numerous projects. He has been excellent. His work is great, he never had to come back to fix the same project twice. I cannot say enough about them, they are very fantastic.
