We had them fix the filter cartridge beccause it went from cold to hot too quickly. They fixed it for $280, but put it on backwards - going from off to scalding hot. Despite repeated attempts over a few week period to get the original plumber to fix it, there was no response from that plumber. They sent another guy out. He put it on correctly, but in so doing, caused a leak, messing up our living room ceiling below. To fix the whole problem that THEY caused, they not only didn't refund the original $280, but charged us $550, a "$250 discount". In addition to this, they left us with broken sheet rock in our wall and part of our ceiling needs to be replaced - both of which will have to be painted. Oh, I almost forgot, we couldn't use our shower for weeks! I recognize that a simple problem became complicated and note that each of the plumbers were friendly, but Plumbing Express as a company should stand behind their work. They didn't, and we are left with an expensive mess to cleanup. UPDATE: The below is a lie. They never offered to refund the initial work - only the aforementioned "discount." Finicky schedule & negative attitude?? My wife and I work full time. Believe it or not - it's hard to meet 3 different plumbers 5 different times for the same issue after following up REPEATEDLY... Again, there was NO leak before Plumbing Express touched the shower. We would have left the minor issue, rather than spend just under $1,000 fixing their screw up.
Response by Plumbing Express: Ms K (consumer name withheld per their request), The reason this took so long had just as much to do with your finicky schedule and frankly your negative attitude as it did with our company. As we have discussed with you many times now, your valve was old and leaky. Replacing the cartridge was a reasonable first step but it did not fix the problem. We offered to give you a total refund of the work that had been done to that point. We wish you the best of luck and hope you don?t have any more need for plumbers.

Plumbing Express was very responsive and easy to work with. Gareth the plumber was professional and kept me informed as to the progress. He was punctual with the appointment times and did quality work. Very satisfied. Would use them again.

Price seemed too high for what they did, especially since I had to replace the water meter cover myself. Also, they left the water turn off tool in the yard, are customers paying for their carelessness?

Sometimes these things do happen when we allow ourselves to get in a hurry. We appreciate the honest feedback and will try to do better next time.
