Aloha! My name is Courtney Swope, the owner of Pohaku Appliance Repair. We are a small family run business looking to serve our friends and families on the Big Island of Hawai'i. Courtney was very helpful in working with me to keep costs down. She made a space in her schedule and got the install done the same day.. The install came out at more than I expected. I did not get other estimates so I don't know the average costs. I chose to go ahead with Pohaku because of the good customer service. I enjoyed working with them.

Kai is very good, fixed my leaking washer and installed a gasket on my fridge. However, di not have a gasket for the freezer and I am still waiting for him to call and tell me when the part will be available. He came back and put the freezer gasket on. Very responsive.

it was what i thought, the lid switch. He didn't have one so I went on line and got it for have price installed it myself. I'm in a wheel chair and it's hard to do work I paid him but I thought he could have helped me. All in all he was fine and my washer was and is running today, so i'm fine with it.

The tech called me and identified himself as the tech from Angi list so when he arrived he was already certain what the problem was which was the fan and the gaskets and collect 150 service calls but did not give a receipt. Text this tech 3 times for my receipt each time he lied and said mother in hospital busy will send to email but never did. His professionalism was non-existent. So my thought was if I had so many problems getting a receipt for the service call I did not want to go further. Spoke to Angie customer relations about the person not going through the proper channels for Angi list thank goodness for customer relations follow-ups with Angi.

Kaikoho was responsive, polite, and went the extra mile to clean up a nasty mess. He diagnosed the problem, found the part number and showed me a simple way to install it when it came in. I will use them again.
