Great and honest business! I had a quote from another company for $12,000 that I needed my air conditioner replaced. I told them I will get a second opinion and I called Polar Bear. They came out and told me that I had an easy repair and it only cost me $425. Carl, the technician, really knows his stuff and he saved me a ton of money. If I would have had to replace the air conditoner with Polar Bear, it would have only been $5500, less than half of that other company. The owner, Vanessa, was very friendly and really showed she cared about my situation. I will be back someday when my air conditioner needs replacing. I strongly recommend this company!

Polar Bear Heating and Air is a great company. Very reliable, courteous, and professional. Oh! and very reasonable rates. We have used them on several projects and recommended them to many of our community residents in The Groves in Irvine. These guys did a good job. They replaced a furnace but underestimated the project and it took longer than expected. Occasionally difficult to communicate with. They were priced right and are nice people.

They were very knowledgeable. We needed two furnaces to replace existing furnaces that were 35 and 40 years old. We also decided to add AC. Work was done quickly for a rental property in Irvine without inconveniencing our tenants. We are able to coordinate from out of state.

The whole Polar Bear crew was great to work with. The customer service over the phone and in person was great. They gave timely updates and showed up when they said they would show up. They went above and beyond expectations to install my new furnace, new coil, new ducting, new grills, and a new Nest thermostat. Works great!

I couldn'the be happier with the services I received with Polar Bear Air. I was quoted by another company to replace our air conditioning unit and heater $14,000. Fortunately I found Polar Bear and ended up paying half that price!! Vanessa was great! She was very professional and honest and I never felt pressured in any way to purchase the air/heater from her. Ducts & Vents Installation and Replacement
I had a contract with Polar Bear to replace all my attic ducts and had a horrible experience. Their biggest mistake was they never thought I would climb into the attic to view their work after completion and receiving payment on Friday evening. On Saturday, I noticed a few minor items like missing caulking, and asked them to come finish on Monday. However, on Sunday I cancelled the appointment and my payment because I saw some of their work that I was very angry about, and no longer trusted them. They did not replace all my attic ducts, and their response was that they could not reach them. They did not tell me about this on install day, or their two prior attic inspections. All my other bids saw no problem reaching them, including the company that replaced their work completely afterwards. Polar Bear is the only company that could not reach them and said they needed to âremove the furnaceâ to do so. Polar Bear did not do all the work in our contract and did not inform me of any installation issues. However, they still charged me the full contract price. I am currently in dispute with this company and have opened a contractor complaint at the California State License Board (CSLB) Check online at the Better Business Bureau to view another similar re-ducting complaint. I hired another company at the same price to replace all the attic ducts properly that took 24 man-hours. Polar Bear took 8 man-hours. There is a reason why the results are different.

"Polar Bear won this lawsuit long ago. The customer was ordered to pay. He sent us a credit card payment along with a letter threatening to write a bad review if we took the payment that was awarded to us. The judge made his decision based on all of the evidence. This customer does not tell the truth. Bottom line here is that we started the ducting on a Friday. Made an appt. to come back on Monday to finish the work. Customer goes into attic over the weekend see's certain items not done. Tells us not to come back on Monday to finish the work because things aren't sealed etc. It's absolutely crazy and does not make sense. The judge agreed and he lost the case."
