The drop-downs would not allow me to be specific about all the work that Dave Polito did for us. Where do I start? Our job was fairly large and involved and we worked with Dave for a good while in both the communication phase and the actual work phase. (like 8 or 9 months all together I think). Dave is a hard-worker, he is honest, he communicates well, he is proud of his work, detail-oriented (a stickler for quality), sees things through to the bitter end. He leaves almost no stone unturned and makes helpful suggestions along the way. Dave essentially renovated the entire interior of our little farmhouse which had not been loved in probably two generations. He had his work cut out for him. He recognizes the charm of an old home and he is willing to do the hard work to restore the things that are worth restoring (this is priceless in a day where most contractors want to just tear everything out and throw it away). He painted inside of our house, top to bottom, installed new countertops, refinished our hardwood floors, and installed a new slate floor in our kitchen. The list of work was LONG! The job that he did on our hardwood floors was extraordinary. The poor old floors were beaten to hell, peed upon for years (seemingly by a friggin grizzly bear), and covered up for years with multiple layers of low-quality flooring. He brought them back to life with an almost perfect result. Keep in mind they are old and they maintain some battle scars but we actually love that about them and view the scars as a sort of provenance. If I were to critique anything about Dave, it would be that he needs to work on his time-management a bit more. I would be inclined to knock him one star in this aspect BUT, for the following reasons I simply cannot: He basically did this job all himself - this was a HUGE undertaking and required lots of hard, hard work. His attention to detail is impeccable. His work product is truly fantastic. He communicated with me all the way through, so there were not many surprises. We each had patience with each other and together, we made it through to the end of the project. Did I say that it came out amazing and stunning? We are quite happy. I would not hesitate to hire David Polito. Have a consultation and work out your plan with him. You will be in good, capable, craftsman-Esque hands!

Dave is extremely responsive, responsible, trustworthy and genuinely cares about the quality of his work. He cleans up each day, leaving no mess which I appreciate. I highly recommend Dave Polito!

We hired David to Paint the exterior of our house in Sunapee. He was a very hard worker and showed great attention to detail. The entire process from Paint selection to completion of the job was clearly communicated. We were very happy with the final result. Great Job!

I hired David to fix exterior rot, and paint the trim and body of the house. He started the day he had committed to and constantly showed up every morning and worked full days. His demeanor was consistent and respectful. As he began he found a water penetration issue causing a large area of rot and water getting behind the siding. He was able to leverage his network to get additional help and complete the job with a high level of quality.

David painted eight rooms, two stairways, hallways and did a couple major drywall alterations for us. He was very pleasant to deal with and his work was excellent. We were very pleased with the results and will have him back in the nice weather to do our outside work. Gail and Ken R.

Excellent work, very professional and at a reasonable price! I would recommend David to anybody needing any work done.

We hired Dave to paint the complete interior of our mobile home (14x 70), and at the same time, lay vinyl planking throughout. We found him to be very professional and very meticulous with both jobs. He also, gladly, worked with us doing the rooms in order of our priorities. His prices were very reasonable and if we need anything done in future we will definitely be calling him!

David worked on projects for us from mid July 2018 until the first week of October 2018. He is a very hard worker who does a great job at any project he completed for us. First he painted the outside trim of our house, the outside of our garage, replaced the lattice under our front porch and sealed up the shingles at the edge of our roof. House looks fantastic. Next we had a rotten window frame that turned out to be a bigger problem than we ever thought. David fixed the frame, our interior wall and made it all look better than it ever did. He shielded the window frame so water damage won't be a problem in the future. Next David did a complete remodel of our 1/2 bathroom from demo, new porcelain tile flooring, new vanity and new paint. During the old floor removal he discovered that the roof over our bathroom was leaking and he got on the roof in the pouring rain to seal it up. We were not aware of the problem and we were lucky that David caught it and fixed it. David turned our vision into a reality. We love our new bathroom! We would absolutely hire him for another job and will do so in the near future. David's prices are super fair and his work is even better. You won't be disappointed if you hire him.

Mr David Polito is a very respectful young man. He starts out doing a job great, and he corrects all of his mistakes. Unfortunately he does not finish as well as he starts a project. I was very satisfied though. He did correct most of what was incorrect. I would recommend him. He is very honest and forthcoming. I would definitely request his services again. Carol
