Mr. Martin did not supervise his staff adequately. They started late and ended early each day and were not able to finish the job in the required time. He kept increasing the agreed on price three times and still did not complete the contracted work. 4 inch Cement gutter around the garden bed at the back of the yard was not done; the Black border around trees was not nailed down in the ground properly and they now are all out of the ground; French gutters were not slanted underground and when the rain fell months later the water backs up and spew out at the base of where roof gutter enter underground gutter; Walkway pavers not installed; Ground not leveled before the sod was placed down and the lawn is lumpy; Soil used had stones in it which messed up my perfect vegetable beds. There is so much more I could say about this company shoddy work. I am having to pay someone to try to remove the stones from my garden beds; I cannot afford to fix the underground gutters at this time.

TCarlos deceived us into thinking the company is reputable and trustworthy. He does not return calls and does not want to return the down payment. Looking for alternatives; gave him several chances to come clean he is not returning calls and frank (receptionist office) is covering for him.

My experience with this company was very frustrating and unprofessional. Although there was an attempt to rectify the mistakes made during the tree pruning portion of the work, I was supposed to get two lawn cuts as part of the overpriced quote but the company has not followed through despite repeated attempts to schedule the cuts. I wouldn?t recommend this company and certainly would never use them again.

"Hi Debbi. We are sorry we could not exceed your expectations. As this is always our goal. We asked for 50 percent of the job upfront, and the other half only when our client is totally satisfied with the job. We came back the next day, to fix your trees and we were told by you that it was a great job. We did offer two free lawn cuts as part of the job. However, when we submitted a maintenance proposal, we were told our price of $50 was too high to maintain a duplex. Although our maintenance proposal was rejected, we still showed up to the property to honor our commitment. Upon arrival, the team noticed the lawn was already cut."

Were not prepared to do the job, lack of tools and equipment. Stump removal was only partially finished. Clean up was not complete.

There is a reason that the PonDeRosa Landscaping Website has all 5 star reviews . . . they deserve it! I cannot say enough about Carlos and his crew - Andrew, Carlos and all the rest. They are BEYOND patient! I have been blessed with the people who have worked at my home and Carlos is one of those blessings. He is another owner that answers his phone every time I call. I hired Carlos to maintain my lawn and landscaping. He was my third or fourth try - WHAT A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE. He knows what he is doing and he cares about what he is doing - it shows. After a few months of service Carlos called me to recommend that we repair the sprinkler system. This system had not been working for over 10 years and had been affected by work done to our home. I told him that I just didn't think it could be done. HE DID IT and he did it for a good price. He answers all questions patiently and his crew works tirelessly. Can't say enough - PonDeRosa Landscaping really does treat every customer like their only customer - the reviews prove it!

Carlos from par Ponderosa landscaping came out 20 minutes after I called him gave me an estimate which we negotiated an excepted the work and the next day his crew is here energetically cleaning my yard they did extra work and will be back in a few days to do And they will be back in a few days to do their monthly maintenance make sure if youre looking for lawn service tree trimming or just a plant some flowers or trees or spruce up your yard for the holidays give these guys a call or you wont be disappointed theyre the best Ive used many with lots of disappointment So make sure you give Carlos a Pondarosa a try at least

Lawn & Yard Waste Clean Up
The worker were late by several hours, the owner did not come to job site as promised to look at work. The owner used my own materials, the owner underestimated the quantity needed by more then half. The job was left incomplete, damage was done to existing plants because they did not have the knowledge and were not supervised. Rocks were dumped on my planting beds. When I asked for the conditions to be corrected the owner became abusive. Workers were never properly supervised or instructed. We are sorry we ever heard of them.

"Day 1 on the job we had a break down that's why the men showed up about 45 mins late. The homeowner was notified of this. I was asked to do an irrigation job that wasn't contracted. This job would have at least added another day. I said I'm sorry ma'am, but once we have fulfilled this contract. Then we can do another for the irrigation. I agreed to do the job at a discounted rate only on a separate agreement. She then proceeded to ask me to do a paver platform for her, I said sure we can do the paver platform for you, but it will have to be on a separate day as this also is a day's work. In good faith, we planted and stumpgrinded and leveled."

They came and did not complete the job required. They said they will come back and take care of it. I had to call and remind them. Then when they came they damage one of my plants, by letting the seed pods just fall on it.

Sod Installation
Although we found Ponderosa Landscaping a few months ago, it took us a while to decide when to move forward. Thus, delay in project completion. Once we called Carlos he was right on it and scheduled the work to be completed within the same week. Carlos is very professional and friendly and cares about the customer being happy. One of the paths had to be redone due to misunderstanding by laborer and he was still able to complete the job within the time frame agreed upon. Carlos and his team were prompt and worked very hard in hot conditions. We are still in contact with Carlos for future Landscape Maintenance and other projects. We love having the lawn again and the pathways that they installed are great. Really cleaned up the look of our side yard and design of our backyard. Thank you Carlos and your team!
