Pool Doctor of the Palm Beaches

There is so much detail to share but in summary, do not hire this company. They are clearly money hungry and while we paid $120k (this is with ?law enforcement discount?), it obviously wasnt enough money for them to resolve issues as they caused. They built our pool one way to then have subcontractors come and fix their errors so you essentially end up spending even more money than what was already paid. The decking is so uneven and looks way worse at night because of the shadows. The exposed PVC and re-construction of a hose area looks beyond ghetto and not $120k worth of work. Their customer service is nonexistent and when it is, it totally lacks. Please save your money and hire another company. My Google review has more in detail.

I don't really write reviews but this time I feel that I have to, it's just fair that I do. I have known Dean Schiller since I was a kid and my parents hired him to build a pool at a home they purchased back in the early 90's, they were so happy with the quality and service they goy from Dean that they hired him again years later to build another pool at another house we moved into. My whole family has used Dean to either build a new pool or to remodel their existing one, he knows everything about pools from gunite to fiberglass, remodels etc. Now, I got married not too long ago and I bought my very first house and I could not think of anyone else BUT Dean Schiller to build my pool, so I did what my family did and I hired him to build my wife and I our very first pool. We are beyond happy with what he designed and built for us, the results are fantastic! we have the perfect backyard oasis for us, I just feel I can not thank him enough. As I read the negative reviews on here makes me think that they are coming from people that are not happy with themselves or with anything, or people that are just posting fake reviews, especially the harsh long review from Markus Miller below it sounds to me like a competition trying so hard to make Dean look bad or just a plain bitter person that is mad at life, he doesn't even make sense on his statements, a 5 year old kid writes and sounds better than him. My entire family and a lot of friends that we have recommended Dean to ( now with the Pool Doctor of the Palm Beaches) have nothing but good things to say about him, I truly recommend him. I was not happy at all with their service and execution of the project, in my opinion, it was a very poor performance. I won't use them ever again.

Run away. I thought I would hold off on writing my review until our job with Pool Doctor was complete, but I donâ t see that happening anytime in the foreseeable future. We signed our contract with Scott of Cristallo Pools (part of Pool Doctor) in March of 2021. Just the engineering part took about 4 months to complete, which we let slide given the craziness of Covid. In that time it was nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone to give us a status of where the project was at. Fast forward to Septemberâ they dug the pool, gunite was coming in, everything seemed to be going to schedule. It was not until after the concrete that I realized that the raised spa was in fact made flush with the rest of the pool, negating the whole waterfall effect of the spa. The engineering that took 17 weeks to finish was actually done incorrectly and was a huge mistake on Pool Doctorâ s part. It is December 2021 and we are still waiting for them to correct the issue. It has been nothing but lies after lies. Giving us enough false information to keep us from calling back the next day. At this point, if they tell me someone will be at my house to do some work, I know there is only about a <5% chance of that actually occurring. It has happened dozens of times already over the past several months. It is truly miserable and exhausting having to call EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. just to be lied to time and again. We are 12+ weeks post-mistake, and we still do not have a fixed pool nor any indication of when it will get done. There are random plumbing parts, rebars, huge dirt fill mountains, and trash around our house. There is no urgency AT ALL on Pool Doctorâ s part to fix the mistake. They are acting like itâ s on us? And the attitude from their customer service team is shameful. When our project is complete, I will come back to this review and make any revisions if necessary.

If we could put ZERO stars we would. BUYER BEWARE DO NOT USE POOL DOCTOR OF THE PALM BEACHES. They are not only incompetent in their ability to be truthful (do not trust a word Dean Schiller says) but their incompetence in properly installing a hot tub is glaring. The owner Rob, along with his team Dean, Melissa, Claudia, etc all string you along to run out the clock on their BS *warranty*. From day 1 our hot tub has been leaking. Not only have they not fixed the problem, but they have also destroyed the aesthetics of the spa and are rude and condescending. They take months to respond to constant requests to fix our brand new spa, while the owner Rob, threatened to not fix the issues unless we took down our negative yet truthful review. They only respond to save face but could not care less about the quality of their work. This has been a nightmare from Day 1. Find another company or be prepared for massive stress, excuses, and improper installation. It is been a domino effect of problems. One thing is broken, then another. Just today our breaker made a violent pop and now we are at risk of getting electrocuted. Maybe if that happens they will respond finally but it is doubtful as they have moved on to other unsuspecting people they can con. They happily took our money and have yet to deliver a properly installed spa. POOL DOCTOR OF THE PALM BEACHES IS A SHAMEFUL COMPANY.

They did a fantastic job on my pool

Had Pool Doctor for two years out here in Loxahatchee. Service was good, even with the hidden bi yearly fees. The guy I had disappeared, and was replaced with a yahoo couple that parked on my lawn next to the pool, and then they just stopped coming. After repeat calls as to why with only the girl who answers the phone, she finally told me house was to far and that they would not come out here anymore. Now I use POOL WATER MEDIC...he's awesome!

overpriced repairs, shoddy workmanship, and unreliable pool techicians. read all reviews . company seems more concerned with collecting money than doing a good job cleaning and/or repairing your pool.

I'm happy with the work and glad I picked Pool Doctor.

Easy to set up with full information and quick service.

I have used Pool Doctor in the past, and WAS very satisfied. This time, they gave me a 2 day window for a visit. They didnt show, I called them, and was told they were busy and would try to get there today. When I got home, there was 50 cents worth of Plummers putty, coving where I had previously put a peice of Duct Tape, marking where the valve release knob was missing. I was exspecting a call saying the knob is on order we will be out to replace it when it arrives. All I got was a bill for $85 mailed to me, 2 weeks later.

Started project a week early. and it only took 4 days to finish not the 5. So I had my pool 8 days before expected. They were able to save my tiles when everyone else said they would have to be removed. Beat another project by $1k Great job guys!

Very prompt, prepared, efficient, price concious

They currently service my pool. I am happy with their service only 75% of the time. I have to constantly be on the lookout for my pool since their technician never gives me feedback if something is wrong with the pool. Their management itself is very good and responsive.

They responded quickly, arrived when appointed and diagnosed my problem satisfactorily.

They respond to my Call very promptly. My Pool needed cleaning and I had trouble with my Pool vac. The service professional took care of both the issues on his first visit and I ended up hiring them for my pool maintenance. Pool Doctor of the Palm Beaches is very professionally run.

Ther service was fast and on time. I recieved a complete detail report on the condition of the pool and also they were able to set up a monthly plan that I could afford for maintaining the pool. Yes I would recommend them to anyone. Chris V
