About us

Handyman Painting: I have been a painter for over 15 years. I am retired now but still love to get out and do residential work. I take interior painting work from 1 to 5 rooms. I also do exterior power washing and staining of decks to help you clean up around the outside of your homes. I will take exterior whole house paint jobs but I limit them to single story homes "only" as I no longer have the long ladder equipment and leave the higher jobs for the younger men. My pricing is reasonable and I am never in a rush to run to the next job. I limit my jobs to 2 or 3 a month and my work is clean and as non invasive to your home as I can make it. I was very nervous to get my painting done. When Gary came I felt very confident. When he was half way done I was already impressed. He came back to do the second coat and I thought I would need three but, when the paint dried he was right - we only needed 2 coats. He is now painting our two other home! I would recommend him to anyone who wants a professional job well done! He was willing to listen to me and was very patient. Showed up on time and worked non-stop. Completed the job on time! He cleaned up after himself at the end of the day each day.

We got three quotes for painting the trim work in our house including base boards, door frames, and window frames. Porell's Home Service was on time for the walk-through and listened to our ideas and provided us an estimate via email later that same day. Our job took two days times, Gary was on time both days, worked quietly and efficiently and did a fantastic job. We are extremely satisfied with the results and would highly recommend his services. In addition his services were far less expensive than the estimates we received from other Homadvisor.com recommended pro's.
