Do not use them. They will charge $200 for an estimate. They go away come back a few days later to install a part that does not fix the problem and they do not answer the phone and they do not return your messages. Very poor service.

Port City Gas Works pulled the gas line that was needed for our new Wolf gas range top. Previously there was an electric cooktop. We Highly recommend them. They were courteous, attentive and fast. Could not be happier with their service. 5+

Mr. Ryan Geer performed the service for us. We were experiencing problems (having issues) with our gas logs. Since we purchased our premium-quality gas logs less than two (2) years ago, we felt like we should not be incurring the problems/issues that we were having. I contacted Port City Gas Works via Home Advisor, and within a very short period of time, Mr. Ryan Geer, responded to my inquiry, and we established a mutually convenient time for him to come to our home to assess, and hopefully alleviate, the problem(s). Mr. Geer came to our home, assessed the situation, and fixed the problem to our complete satisfaction! Mr. Geer was professional courteous, knowledgeable, competent, and he afforded us a thorough and viable explanation of our problem subsequent to him resolving the problem in its entirety. We would certainly rate Mr. Geer, and Port CIty Gas Works very highly! And, we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who has an issue with their fireplace logs! We are most pleased with all aspects of this matter.

I contacted on a Sunday morning, looking for someone to convert my new range from natural gas to LP. Ryan responded within minutes confirming they could do the job and would call me in the morning. First thing I received a call and a schedule time for later in the day, after 5 o'clock. Kime and a trainer Mike showed up a little after 5 and within an hour the job was done. Kime instructed the trainee with detailed instructions. Once the job was done it was a high 5 moment! Super nice, polite and friendly. Price was very reasonable compared to what gas company wanted to charge, and they came the next day. I would definitely recommend them!!! I tipped them extra for their quick response & job well done. And one more thing, working with Home Advisor's technology was private, quick and easy to use.

They were prompt, courteous and fixed the problem in what seemed 2 seconds. Did appreciate that they answered my questions, were knowledgeable and checked over fireplace as well as cleaning the glass and adding embers. I was thankful too that I called on Wed. and they were here Thurs. morning. Have tried others (1) and sometimes wait would be two weeks or more, So did appreciate their promptness.
