Adam did an expert job replacing the parts needed and restoring the gas fireplace to a radiant looking fire, like it used to be!!!

Adam was wonderful. He cleaned the fireplace, replaced batteries we didn't know were there, and, most importantly, showed us what to do to restart the fireplace in winter and gave us a tutorial on how to replace the logs and where to place the rock wool. The fireplace looks brand new.

They did a great job servicing our gas fireplace. We purchased a new house and wanted peace of mind the unit was working properly/safely. They were quick, clean and provided education on the unit. I was impressed!

Beware, charged over $500 to inspect 2 fireplaces that were installed but we were looking to further tune up, gave us their evaluation of work involved , ghosted us keeping the money.

We had a gas leak and needed it repaired quickly. Ryan responded immediately that he and his team could fix our issue ASAP. They arrived the next day and fixed our gas leak and ensured our gas was reconnected before the end of business that day. Really appreciate their professionalism and quick response. Will be using Port City Gas Works from now on for all of our gas line needs!

Port City Gas Works pulled the gas line that was needed for our new Wolf gas range top. Previously there was an electric cooktop. We Highly recommend them. They were courteous, attentive and fast. Could not be happier with their service. 5+

Mr. Ryan Geer performed the service for us. We were experiencing problems (having issues) with our gas logs. Since we purchased our premium-quality gas logs less than two (2) years ago, we felt like we should not be incurring the problems/issues that we were having. I contacted Port City Gas Works via Home Advisor, and within a very short period of time, Mr. Ryan Geer, responded to my inquiry, and we established a mutually convenient time for him to come to our home to assess, and hopefully alleviate, the problem(s). Mr. Geer came to our home, assessed the situation, and fixed the problem to our complete satisfaction! Mr. Geer was professional courteous, knowledgeable, competent, and he afforded us a thorough and viable explanation of our problem subsequent to him resolving the problem in its entirety. We would certainly rate Mr. Geer, and Port CIty Gas Works very highly! And, we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who has an issue with their fireplace logs! We are most pleased with all aspects of this matter.

I contacted on a Sunday morning, looking for someone to convert my new range from natural gas to LP. Ryan responded within minutes confirming they could do the job and would call me in the morning. First thing I received a call and a schedule time for later in the day, after 5 o'clock. Kime and a trainer Mike showed up a little after 5 and within an hour the job was done. Kime instructed the trainee with detailed instructions. Once the job was done it was a high 5 moment! Super nice, polite and friendly. Price was very reasonable compared to what gas company wanted to charge, and they came the next day. I would definitely recommend them!!! I tipped them extra for their quick response & job well done. And one more thing, working with Home Advisor's technology was private, quick and easy to use.

They were prompt, courteous and fixed the problem in what seemed 2 seconds. Did appreciate that they answered my questions, were knowledgeable and checked over fireplace as well as cleaning the glass and adding embers. I was thankful too that I called on Wed. and they were here Thurs. morning. Have tried others (1) and sometimes wait would be two weeks or more, So did appreciate their promptness.

Have also hired them to put vinyl siding on my home and we are waiting on it to come in

The workmanship is great

The two owners did the work themselves and definitely took pride in their workmanship. They were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. It was obvious they had completed many deck repairs. They arrived on time, got right to work, and were done very quickly. In order to ensure the deck's safety, they explored the edges and structural pieces. Once they had found everything to be structurally sound, they replaced the old plywood, added a high quality water sealant over it, and placed a glue under the entire carpet so it would stay in place. They then took the time to get down to the deck below and vacuum it clean from some of the rotted wood which had dropped down while they worked. I would highly recommend Port City Gas Works.

This company goes the extra mile to get the job done right, on budget, and on schedule. They are fast, but thorough. The lines of communication were always open and they were quick to respond to all my text and calls. The highest praise I can offer is try them - you will not be disappointed.

Ryan did an excellent job communicating the timelines for installing the gas lines. Not only did they do a great job installing the lines but he went above & beyond by alerting me to water damage in my ductwork that was missed on my insurance claim. Definitely use this company. They are awesome!
