Extremely concerned company to make sure they got all info necessary to do the job right. They actually went up on the roof to see what they had to do prior to the quote. Other companies I looked at were not interested in doing this. They also left me extra shingles to match this batch in case there were problems with windstorm, etc. Did all work in one day, covered things close to the house, cleaned up after finish and used a magnet roller to look for nails on the ground around the house. I am very impressed.

Portanova Roofing sent a gentleman named Jim Corry to my home on probably the coldest, windiest day of the year. Jim took some measurments and that very same day came up with an estimate. He resented me with a book of samples and allowed me to pick our favorite. Jim and his team came up with a date the following week for the removal and replacement of our existing 30 year old roof. When the day came, Jim's team arrived at exactly the chosen time and began to strip the old roof. Amazingly, they completed the task of removing the shingles and began to inspect the wood for any damages. Jim made a recommendation for some boards that needed replacement. We agreed that the boards needed replacement. His team carried on with the installation and by late afternoon the entire roof had been replaced. His team made certain the debris was picked up completely. I was so impressed with the precision of his team. Professional workmanship and just amazing results. Neighbors commented on how quickly and professional they worked. The next day his team completed the installation of new gutters and downspouts. Placed perfectly and again, no debris left anywhere. We are thrilled that Portanova Roofing of Weymouth was able to get the job done so perfectly. Would I recommend Jim Corry and Potanova Roofing to my friends and family??? You bet I would. Very good company, excellent workers, on time, clean, efficient, 5 star customer service

A wind storm had blown the weathervane off the cupola on our garage, leaving a hole that leads to water leaking into our garage after a rainstorm. We needed someone to assess the source of the leak and tell us if the roof needed to be replaced. We were concerned. The water damaging the garage stucco ceiling and coming down on our car and also the water getting into ceiling electrical outlets in garage ceiling and causing a fire. I left a voicemail for Portanova Roofing at 8 pm on a Sunday. Monday AM I spoke with Alex, who sent Mike out within an hour. Mike did a fantastic job, assessing the source of trouble, telling us we did not need a new roof at this time, and patching the hole in the cupola. He reassured us that there was no further water in the garage ceiling, hence no risk. He told us what to look for so we would know when it is time to replace the roof. If we had needed a new roof, we would have foregone other estimates and hired Portanova on the spot. I was blown away by the responsiveness of this company and of the thorough examination of the issue Mike did. When we do need a new roof, we will be hiring Portanova! It was so great to have such a positive experience.

Had our roof redone in March, some sheathing replacement needed as well. Did the job in a timely and professional manner and took care of the specific details for our case. Worked well with the other contractor we had come out. Excellent customer service, highly skilled and nice guys. I noticed two very minor things that came up on the exterior two months after the job was finished. They fixed them in a timely manner during Corona with the utmost courtesy and care. Highly recommend!

Pleased to provide this review. I wanted to hire this company immediately based on first impressions alone. Jim was friendly and confident with an obvious attention to detail. The estimate contained everything we talked about. My only hesitation was that they were the lowest estimate we got! I’m deliberate about these things, so I got one more estimate after the one from Portanova for a total of 4. Jim was great. I met Alex who was also great. The roofing crew was impressive to say the least. Very hard working and clearly talented. There was a point in the middle of the afternoon on the first day when I was a little concerned about the mess around the house. It had started to seem a little out of hand, and then just a little bit later, as if by magic, it was like they had never been here. Really impressive. AND the roof looks great! I would hire this outfit every time!
