Wiring and placement of new light fixture was professionally and efficiently done. As soon as truck was out of driveway it was impossible to know work had been done in my living room. Portland metro electric highly recommended.

David has completed 3 electrical jobs for me. He installed an over range microwave, completely rewired my hot water heater when someone else botched the job and brought electric outside to a shed we had installed. David is professional, he shows up when he says he's going to be there and he gets the job done as promised. We will call him for all our future electric needs.

Dave has really gone above and beyond helping us update an older house that was poorly updated many times over many years. He found lots of issues that were causing us all our problems and fixed them diligently, quickly & professionally. He completed the bulk work but there still remain a number of smaller, minor jobs that he returns to when he can fit them in. He's also a good sport because everything that could go wrong on our property did and he was usually the unfortunate receiver.

Showed up on time, knew what I explained I wanted, made appt to return and do the job,. did the Job, cleaned up, its beautiful vacuumed. Came in one time and out one time. Made it look easy I am delighted. I have used again and still delilghted.

I definitely recommend Portland Metro Electric and Dave the owner. From my original call I was able to schedule the work within a week. Dave gave me advise for how to make my job of installing lights under and over my kitchen cabinets more affordable and still accomplish the lighting I wanted. He told me exactly what to buy, and offered to get them for me. He arrived exactly on time and did a great job on my kitchen lights and all of my other lighting projects. His pricing was reasonable and he supplied that up front so I knew what to expect. He even vacuumed so you can’t even tell any work was done! Very good experience with an electrician and will definitely be calling Portland Metro Electric to do my outside lighting and any other electrical needs!

I called Dave at Portland Metro elect. for a kitchen remodel and he showed up that afternoon for a quote. He helped me figure out what I needed to be code compliant, came up with a reasonable quote that included pulling permits and inspection, and showed up on the day we agreed and got the work done. My house is an older Portland home with some unconventional and inconsistent framing, and Dave took it in stride and figured out the best course of action to get the job done. He was courteous and kept the place clean.

I recently purchased a home that needed some extensive electrical work to bring it to code (and safety!), so I needed to hire a competent electrician. I was given Dave's contact information from the electrician's union rep at the PDX Home and Garden Show. Dave responded to my message within hours, and we set up a time to meet so he could give me an estimate. Dave provided an estimate within 24 hours, and completed the work in the timeframe agreed upon. He did an excellent job! I highly recommend Dave and Portland Metro Electric, and will definitely hire him for any future electrical needs.
