Poseidon Moving

Hired mover to move some household items from south Boston to Kansas city mo. Provided them with inventory to be moved and received quotes. After hiring and paying a security deposit, was notified that due to the area of pickup, there would be an additional charge for pickup with a small truck and then transfer to a cross country semi. We agreed to the addition due to our scheduling plans to get back to Kansas City. However, the truck used to pick up our items in south Boston was the same one that delivered our items to Kansas city. So, there was no additional handling required on the part of Poseidon moving. When I later objected to the additional $400 upcharge I was told that it was justified since they made our requested delivery date. However, we never requested any delivery date, just wanted an estimated date to support our travel plans.

One of the best moving experiences Iâ  ve had to date. I had to move from New York to Boston amidst the COVID19 madness, and Alex (our moving manager/ point of contact) made the process extremely transparent, seamless and made us feel comfortable all throughout a typically super stressful process. They guys were so professional and kind, worked very quickly and were able to transport all of my stuff with zero damages. I also really appreciated that they encouraged me to get additional insurance and were really transparent about their liability. Luckily we didnâ  t have to use it but you can never be too cautious! Would definitely hire them again and recommend to anyone moving out of state!

I was able to book this company at relatively short notice. It was a small job which some companies won't take on. Their price was reasonable and they took good care of the furniture I had to move.

We hired Poseidon to move our son from Waltham to Pittsburgh for Grad School. They were the only movers who could guarantee a delivery date which was important to us. From start to finish the job was done professionally.

These guys were great!! Half the cost of another company who came out and quoted on the job, and the service was fantastic. Oleg, Alex and Armon took great care to wrap everything, deducted time took for lunch and even helped us carry the new dryer downstairs. The final price was lower than I had anticipated. The absolute best moving company I have ever used.
