In regard to quality of work--no work has begun, they will be here August 15, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. to begin work and they will complete it on day two. I have been kept up to date as to all aspects of the process and the things I need to complete before they arrive. Very very professional the two men I dealt with and the female from the office is so very kind, patient and very respectful. Thus far I am very very pleased with the process.

Sump Pump or Interior Foundation Drains Installation
I choose the "safe track" sump pump system to tackle the efflorescence on my basement walls. Didn't know water could build up in concrete blocks and deteriorate a foundation wall. The system is doing its job, though it is an eye sore. Trying to figure out how to build around it, but still leaving access to sump pump, is a tough task.

The inspector, Andrew, was very polite and informative. The work crew, led by Phoenix, did very good work but I did have two complaints. First, the jackhammering caused additional cracking of the basement floor in several places, and second, the lower part of the stairs had to be remvoved to allow room for the jackhammering, but they were not rebuilt correctly. Both the cracks and the steps will be repaired next week by Poseidon. To their credit, they agreed quickly to make the repairs.

We had some unexpected issues come up during the process, which took a little longer, but the crew kept us informed and in the loop through the entire process. Dave, the owner, walked us through everything and gave his recommendation for what we needed done and did not try to push anything extra. The foreman, Dylan, was very informative and thorough and made sure everything was completed to perfection. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dry basement with a lifetime guarantee!!

Dave Hutcher (owner) inspected our basement and went over what was needed to fix our wall from caving in. His men came out the next week and fixed the problem. Absolutely would recommend Poseidon Waterproofing.

Sump Pump or Interior Foundation Drains Installation
The solution provided in our contract with Poseidon by the Inspector did not solve our sump pump drainage problem, it only made it much worse. The drainage pipe and retention box they installed was not able to handle the volume of water and continues to percolate to the surface above where it is installed and floods our yard and flows down into the yard of our neighbor next door. We are frustrated and very unhappy with the outcome. Poseidon refuses to correct the problem unless we pay to correct their mistake. They also refused to refund our money. Our phone calls to Poseidon now go unanswered and the manager refuses to speak with us or to help us resolve this.

"We are sorry that you are unhappy with the outcome of the project. We had the difficult task of working behind another company and the work they "completed" for you. The only work we did for you was to extend the discharge line from their pump and run the water to the end of your yard. We completed this work properly and now all of the water disperses at the end of your yard and not near your house just like the agreement states. We never set foot inside your home and did not perform any interior waterproofing or sump pump installation. The paperwork is clearly marked and the agreed upon scope of work was completed according to the original proposal. We have communicated this to you multiple times both over the phone and in writing and continue to stand behind the work we performed at your residence."

Dave Hutcher (owner) inspected my basement and gave me a proposal for waterproofing. I have an 1800 square foot basement with 5 separate rooms, which made the process of installing interior French drains more difficult than in an unfinished basement. However, Mike (foreman) and his crew did a great job, and Todd (the project manager) was always on hand to offer advice for the tricky spots. This company exceeded my expectations in every way.

Absolutely recommend Poseidon Waterproofing. From the beginning through the end all employees listened, were knowledgeable, and worked non-stop. We had their inside waterproofing done in the basement and 29 feet (ca. 9 m) of outside french drains installed. Job turned into a problem child when a sewer line got broken inside, and a slab of cement was discovered while digging outside. These guys worked for three days in rainy 36 degree weather digging by hand the 2 foot x 4 foot x 29 foot trench needed for the drains. Cannot say thank you enough for a job well done. The system is working already and we are so happy.
