Should be Poor Me Concrete! Why did I go with Ernie who does not stand behind his work? We had the sidewalk along our house and the apron in front of the garage done. One block cracked right away. They patched it by spackling a little more on top. The patch came off. The job is not even a year old and now two blocks are cracked and the apron has a massive crack. Ernie response? Concrete will do that.

Make sure this guy stays to original game plan and does do what your wife says without confirming with you, now I have slopped and awkward cement instead of level and flat like the original plan was. He should have called and talked to me about this drastic of a change. I am not happy at all.

Ernest did more than I expected, was curteous, timely and bent over backwards to help me out with a job that was a bit unusual and got his crew to help me with the heavy lifting and placing of heavy granite pieces for a monument during Easter weekend. I highly recommend this company!

Draw up a contract yourself, include a drawing/plan, be specific about all the work that is included in the estimate. This is to avoid any miscommunication in regards to the extent of the project. In my case this contractor completely ignored my request of a contract. Unfortunately I let him go ahead with the job anyway. The price was not unreasonable, but the finished product does not have a very aesthetic look to it also there are a couple of problems I'll have to have corrected. I asked the contractor to return to do it but he never returned even though he promised he would.
