I had tree service at my residence in 02/2022 and was very pleased… Jeff, the Powell representative, was responsive, professional, and courteous. The team from Powell was on schedule, did an excellent job at a good price, and cleaned up the yard before they left. I would use this company again, and I recommend them highly.

They were wonderful to deal with in every aspect of the tree removal. Quick quote, quick to schedule and was at my house right on time to do the job. Their team was excellent, courteous, and it was unbelievable to watch how they so methodically took down such a large tree right at the street and ground the stump between the curb and sidewalk without any damage to the sidewalk. They cleaned up so well that you couldn't even tell they were there. In this day and age where good help is hard to find, it was a true pleasure to have met them and got such good service. Thank you.

I had called 4 different services and no one showed up. I called Powell Tree service and spoke with Eddy throughout the entire process. He got me a written estimate within 2 days then booked our job right away even though they were booked out for months. Eddy is a true professional, hard worker, easy to deal with, no issues at all !!! I actually thought he was the owner. He took before and after pics because we couldn't be at the property at the same time. Cleaned up massive trees that hadn't been toughed in years and made sure to remove all debris after. I would highly recommend this company without question. And I can't thank Eddie enough for being a great pro!

We were extremely impressed with the professional job Dave Powell Tree Service provided at my home. We hired them to remove a huge multi-trunk silver maple in our yard which had crack in it. As soon as they brought down the first hefty branch our stress level drop significantly. These guys are truly experts in their field. The team worked well together and they were all very respectful. We also asked them to remove dead wood from another large tree and while working on the tree they found an old crack and recommended removing the tree. At first we really didnâ  t want to take it down but realized if the tree came down in a storm it would hit the house, so we asked them to take it down. After the tree was down we could see the inside of the tree had a three inch opening filled with dirt, decayed wood and some type of large slugs eating the tree from the inside out. It was just a matter of time before it would come down. We made the right decision. We strongly recommend Dave Powel Tree Service. They are the BEST!

Powell did an outstanding job of removing a very large Copper Beech tree on our property. They were very careful to protect our lawn as much as possible and did an first rate job in every way.

Tree Removal
I will definitely use Powell again and recommend Powell in the neighborhood. Reasonably priced and did a fantastic job of taking down a large tree (that split) in the backyard and grinding the stump. I got a call back within 20 min (Sunday), an appointment for an estimate (same day) and a crew on Monday. They did exactly what they said, including showing up at the appointment time (twice). They worked efficiently and safely through out the process. I watched the whole thing and found everyone very skillful. Property was in great shape when they left.
