We contracted with PowerHouse remodeling to remodel our wooden 490 square foot deck with Trex flooring. Steve Edwards, the owner, gave us an honest assessment of the condition of the old deck, enabling us to retain the old posts and joists. He gave us a fair, detailed, itemized price for the remodel, which included removal and replacement of our deck furniture and grill, with a complete rebuild of the staircase. Unlike other contractors we spoke with there was no attempt to upsell. The work was initiated within the time period specified in the contract. The work crew were polite, clearly knowledgeable, and precise. Demolition of the old deck was accomplished in one day. The old deck support structure was carefully inspected and joists were replaced and reinforced as necessary. Our deck has several bump-outs requiring cutting and joining with precision and this was done carefully in a professional manner. The entire job, including cleanup, was accomplished in 7 days.

Steve and his staff were really great. They came out and met with me several times to answer all my questions- and I had alot ! They were on time, cleaned up each day, showed me things on the deck they were doing to explain. They had all the paperwork completed so I was happy not to worry about that. This is a top notch company. We solicited bids from 5 companies; Power House was neither the cheapest or the most expensive, but they were the company who listened to what we wanted! We replaced a 25 year old, sloping, pressure treated wood deck with a new Ipe deck. It's truly a work of art. The crew who came were focused on the details at each step, and we are confident this new deck will outlast us! I wish I could give Power House more than 5 stars, because they deserve more.

They built a new composite deck and a new stone patio for me. They exceeded my expectations. The quality of work is phenomenal and they pay attention to details. I am extremely satisfied with them. I have another home project that I plan on hiring them next year.

Quality of product and craftsmanship is the best I have ever seen. I am convinced we have the best deck in the neighborhood.
