Handyman for Multiple Small Projects
Beware of this conman! We hired Powers Handyman Services to do a home remolding project. In-lieu of payment, Dennis and Melissa Powers wanted to work out a deal with us that we would sign over our 26-foot Grey Wolf Camper for their services. My husband and I were amiable to this trade. To the point that we allowed Dennis and Melissa Powers to stay in the camper at Gulpha Gorge Campground during the project. However, even with the camper deal in place, Dennis Powers wanted cash from us. We ended up handing over $2,110.00 to Dennis and Melissa Powers. It breaks down like this - $200.00 by check, $1,400.00 paid in cash, $210.00 for their camping fees, and $300.00 paid to their hired worker. Dennis and Melissa showed up to work on our house for approximately 3 hours. Their hired worker, Randy worked three days on the house for a total of 15 hours. Randy is a hard worker and was able to get most of the demo done either by himself or with my husbands help. Then, Dennis Powers demanded more money out of us and that was when the work stopped. I bought all the materials to do the job. Dennis Powers took some of my items and did not return them. So, this is where my husband and I are at, our house is a wreck, and we are out a bunch of money. This man is a thief, a liar, and has absolutely no morals.

Mr. Powers was timely (within one minute of scheduled time), professional, competent, and friendly. His work was efficient and of high quality and workmanship.
