"Mr. M. [Consumer name withheld at their request], we apologize for the misunderstanding. We strive to take care of our customers and have had many positive reviews on Home Advisor and are sorry you did not feel your experience was the same. You were given a verbal quote because things are unpredictable sometimes when working on a well. The delay in time for working on the well had nothing to do with a lack of effort on our part, you had a 4" well with a 4" pump stuck in the well. Pumps should be a smaller diameter than the hole they are placed in. Which we had advised you on. As you know we were working in the backyard pulling the pump by hand, literally inch by inch trying to free the stuck pump up. Most other companies would have drilled a new well instead of trying to work on the stuck pump for a few days. Which could have cost anywhere from $6,000-$10,000 to drill a new well. Due to the fact that the well was about a foot away from the house and we could not access it with our truck. The mineral build up was so heavy that the old steel pipe rotted away as we were pulling the pipe. As you remember because you were watching as we did this. We came back with fishing tools and were able to retrieve the broken water well pump out of the well. You were given notice about prices in the beginning and signed our written invoice with cost outlined on the job. You have yet to complete your payment for the job in full as outlined in writing on our invoice. Sorry for the unfortunate event due to the content in your well. These things out of our control and are unseen as there is no way to know conditions inside a well until equipment is pulled. Again we apologize for any misunderstanding that might have occurred on our part."
