Doors (Interior) Installation and Replacement
Tim responded to my HomeAdvisor request quickly. He came out next day to discuss the project and gave me a cost estimate to replace and paint three existing interior doors (including frames and trim). It took Tim and Bob only six hours to complete the job, including clean-up and a little extra work that had not been included in my original request! It all looks great and works smoothly.

Sliding Door Installation
I was at first shocked at the overall price of a exterior door install. 3 quotes later range was $1500-$1750. Precise gave a quote over the phone rather than other companies wanted a week to schedule. I liked that about them. Tim is an intense communicator however sounded very confident in his work. They do not accept digital cash pay. Credit cards have a 4% fee. They prefer cash. At first they mentioned 1 to 2 weeks for the door after payment but 3 weeks went by. The screen door after the job had to be replaced again by Tim which he fixed it right away with a better quality door.

"We appreciate Brian allowing us to install his doorwall. We just want to clarify a few points for the reader: It is true we do not accept the specific digital cash company that he uses. It is new and not compatible with our banks. We did look into it thoroughly when he asked about it. We are always looking for added convenience for our customers. We do accept cash and thought that was a better option for Brian. We prefer to be paid by check. It allows us to give our customers security and adds an extra savings for all customers. We give a one year guarantee on all labor. When we were alerted that there was an issue with the door itself, we upgraded the door. We complete jobs in the order that we receive them and try to fix any issues immediately."

Very knowledgeable team that worked well together. They explained precisely what they would be doing and carried through to the end in a very timely fashion. They cleaned up after themselves. They never oversold the project and, in fact, reduced the final price based on how the project unfolded. Both Tim & Bob were friendly and great to deal with.

It was a total kitchen remodel, the only thing they did not install was the countertop. I self designed my new kitchen, but they helped with ordering the content, they listened to what I wanted and gave expert, polite suggestions when they were needed or asked for. Their work area was always left cleaner than they found it when they finished each day. It is a very beautiful kitchen.

Sliding Door Installation
My wife and I were interested in having a door wall installed in the place of a kitchen window on our home with a brick exterior. I read all the good reviews on Home Advisor that Precise Building had and decided to give them a shot. When Tim came over to give us to give us the quote he walked us through the entire process and was very knowledgable. He also gave us a great price. The day of the install went great. The work was done fast and right. The finished product looks amazing. I would highly recommend them.

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the work these guys did. They removed our basement stairs in one unit and reinstalled them like they'd never been out. We had a water leak behind our basement stairs, and our waterproofers told us the stairs would have to come out to fix it. We tried every possible option first, hoping to save the money and headache of removing the stairs, but in the end, they had to come out. The wood being over 50 years old, Tim couldn't guarantee they would come out without cracking, in which case they would have to be remade (considerably more money). He really took the time to study what needed to happen to put his best effort into saving them, and it clearly paid off. They even scheduled around the waterproofers, removing the stairs the day before and reinstalling the day after. And also screwed in a panel at the opening to keep our boys and anyone else from falling in. Highly recommend.

They seemed knowledgeable and recommended the right window for this job. However I later found it was not leveled correctly and we'll have to get creative on the tile job thanks to this. They later quoted me to remove the old bath tub and called at the time it was suppose to take place and tried to raise the quote $175.00 miss quoting the plumber. Not to happy. I paid another $75. The plumber was very professional but not a part of Precise Building. If you quote a job you should honor it.

"I'm sorry that Mr. F was unhappy with certain aspects of the job. This is the first we heard of problems with the window. If he had informed us of his dissatisfaction we certainly would have addressed any and all issues. We still are willing to. When the plumber asked for more money, we discussed and even reduced the price. He agreed. We thought we satisfied the price issue.The plumber got the extra money, not us. When I read his review, I immediately offered to give him the $75 back. We are always willing to work with customers and we try to correct all issues, but we first have to know that there is an issue. I wish he would have called."

They did the new window installation,fence repair and caulking just fine but ran into electrical trouble installing my ceiling fan. Tim did arrange for an electrician to come over and finish the job.
