Write a ReviewHORRIBLE!! They quoted a price then when they came to pick up my items they charged almost three times as much. Would not give me my deposit back. Total rip off company. BEWARE! Do not use.
the only reliable person in the company was the delivery driver. I wish i had read the BBB reviews before I contacted them then i would not have. the reports mirrored my experinced in moving several items broken or damaged, included my piano, the company has pictures of damage but will not answer my calls or communicate
They are the worthless company to move with; they are not professional; they come early and stop everywhere; and you are not sure if you are going to receive all your things.
They lost or destroyed everything they touched. The did $2500 worth of damage to my home. They lost $3000 worth of items. They promised delivery on 2/17/24. They didn't deliver until 2 weeks later. They randomly showed up at my house unannounced at 8 PM on a Friday evening to drop off. 2 men stood in my home (I was alone and am a female) and demanded I give them $1400 cash or cash app them or they were going to keep my things. The original deal was they would take a credit card, not cash. So fast forward to after they have damaged my home and the items they did bring, to today 3/21/24. Some guy shows up with my TV which is completely smashed, was taken out of the box and wrapped with different bubble wrap and is completely unusable. I am still missing a $1500 adjustable bed frame, full set of silverware that has been in my family for 2 generations, appliances, Cuisinart knives, all of my pets flea meds, some camera's, video games, and a few tools. The broker has demanded they give me a full refund (he already has) but they refuse. Let's not even get into the threatening language that was used toward me by the owner Isaac, or the nasty text messages from the 2 guys who stood in my living room and demanded $1400 cash. This company needs to be shut down!!!
AVOID THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! Long story short: they told me I would get a discount on services because there was "already a truck in route." They quoted me $2000. They confirmed I could pay the pick up and drop off guys with a credit card. When Precise Moving (the shady moving company they booked) showed up, the price jumped to $3800. They told me I would get a call 24 hours before the movers showed to deliver. They promised my stuff would show up on 2/17/24. No one ever called or showed 2/17/24. I call and talk to the owner of Precise Moving, Isaac, and he tells me it is my fault I moved all the way to Canada. (I moved to Michigan).) On 2/23/24 around 8 PM I get a call from the mover saying he is at my house. (No 24 hour heads up.) The movers come in my house and demand I hand him $1400 cash on a Friday night at almost 8PM before they can unload my belongings. I obviously don't have that cash on hand and was told I could use a credit card. They refused to take the credit card. So now they demand I set up a Cashapp and Cashapp the $1400. Cashapp flags it as fraud and it will not go through after 9 failed attempts. So they leave with my belongings. The mover continues to text me rude messages until 10:30PM that evening. I get my roommate to loan me the cash the next day. They come back to the house, unload everything that wasn't expensive and STOLE my big screen TV, adjustable bed, silverware, name brand knives, and several boxes with cat condo pieces and sentimental belongings. They damaged EVERY FLOOR in my rental house AND ALL OF MY FURNITURE by dragging it face down across hardwood floors. Now the manager calls and tells me they will reimburse $.60/lb for over $2500 worth of items missing. BOTH of the companies mentioned are HORRIFIC!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!
This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. Do not book this company. Everything they said was false. It started out fine. We told them we needed to have our furniture delivered by a certain date (they gave us a 2-day window, which was fine). They sent the contract and I noticed that there was a clause in there saying they did not have to deliver on the date promised. At this point I called the company and said I needed it by a certain date. Not only did Michael assure me it would be there but that date but he spoke to the President of the company who assured us it would be there on this date. It was not even close, costing us a lot of time and money. On top of that, during this process they didn't seem to know where our furniture was at any given time. They were terribly disorganized. When I asked customer service about the delay, they said "read the contract. It says we can deliver at any time". I said I did read the contract and contacted the company about this before signing. She said "too bad. Read the contract. You signed it". When we did get our furniture, it was damaged. On top of that, the movers tried to hide the damage. Luckily we had someone there to inspect it. This company is dishonest and not pleasant to deal with. Avoid them at all costs.
Every bar scam you've ever heard about a moving company is this company. Bait and switch, lies about pick up, lies about delivery, lies about packing, lies about truck and big lies about price. Didn't show on the day we scheduled, when they did show they did have any wrapping materials, the "wardrobe" boxes didn't have hanging bars and before the loaded the first piece the price trippeled from their "binding" estimate. We had no alternative but to sign all their "amended contracts." Luckly we are aware that these practices are illegal...lawyer in the family! Just document everybody thing and let the court sort it out
This was the worst experience I have ever had with a moving company. I called to hire a moving company and they were contacted by a broker. The price that was quoted to me was not honored. We the guy came he didnâ t have a big enough truck so they offered to bring another truck but wanted to charge me more. The price was double of what the quote was. After reading the reviews I had similar encounters as other reviewers that gave them a low rating. They will ghost you if you have questions, will not return phone calls. Give you the run around when you do call. My item got picked up on July 1 and didnâ t get to my location until August 27. My daughter started school without her clothes, we had to sleep on the floor for over a month. There are to many items to cover in this on review. I did get to speak to on lady after 6 weeks who helped me resolve one problem (Jackie) was great. My initial problem still hadnâ t been resolved because no one returns calls. DO NOT DO Business with THEM. Iâ m going to put this on all my social media platforms, because with the type of money they charge they should have a better service.
I am almost speechless, but I'm still trying to love in the wake of this catastrophic decision to fall for the persuasive woo-ings of their saleswoman, Lauren West. I have no time for court--just about to start a new job--but this may turn into pain and suffering as well as false advertising, etc..I am literally sickened at the thought of how this may end with the overcharges, lies, and waiting to try to get a callback from someone at this company. I am willing to go to radio stations, investigative TV news channels, The BBB, Governor Kemp, and the Georgia Supreme Court because I begged their saleswoman NOT to let this be a swindle or trickery of any kind--in the least. Absolutely ill.
STAY AWAY FROM PRECISION MOVING AND STORAGE! They start out very communicative when trying to get your business then they turn into ghosts. The initial â virtualâ estimate should have been my red flag as it was a reasonable amount for interstate moving, $10,000. We agreed on my move dates being August 18 and 19, 2023. My contract noted I needed the full kitchen packed up as well as me having two very large safes. All was added into the contract. I was told the company would stay in close contact to ensure the move went smoothly. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I wanted to speak with a live person but that didnâ t happen after the initial documents were signed. The driver arrives on Friday the 18th at 1:30pm. First telling me heâ s Jewish and does not work after 7pm on Fridays and he does not work on Saturday, so they will finish on the 20th. The driver is surprised about having to pack the kitchen, adds that as additional cost, even though I had already had that in the contract. Secondly, he adds extra for the two safes, which also were in the initial contract. The prices jump from $10, 000 to $22,000. I am over a barrel at this point since I need to move out. They work until 7pm. The lead driver, Ronni, is now packing a heavy wood dining table. I tell him to take the base off for moving. He refuses, says he will protect it with packing materials. THE ENTIRE BASE BROKE OFF THE TABLE DURING THE MOVE! I have insurance, but the table repair wonâ t hit my $1500 deductible. The driver insists on a 10% tip, which he assures me is to be split between the 6 movers. I give it to him, thinking he will further damage my belongings if I donâ t tip. They say in the contract nothing is definite, but that they will keep the customer updated. AGAIN, ANOTHER LIE. They tell me the truck will arrive on Tuesday August 29. That group unloads, putting stuff wherever they want and then showing me the one damaged table and then another table is also damaged. The entire move was horrendous.
