I happened to meet Jorge, the owner, at Home Depot randomly while I was purchasing garage doors. He shared he was a roofer and I mentioned I am doing two roofs right now for my rental properties. I asked if he could come by to take a look. A few hours later, he showed up and walked me through everything in detail. What stood out immediately was how knowledgeable he was, he's been in roofing since he was a teenager working with his dad, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his craft. He reviewed the other bid I had, pointed out a few things to watch for, and then told me honestly that it was actually a solid deal and his bid would align with this one. He didn't pressure me, didn't try to undercut just to win the job he simply gave me his perspective and left it up to me to choose. That kind of honesty is rare in this business. Jorge came across as professional, passionate, and just an all-around good person. I won't be switching roofers this time since I already have a good bid in place and pretty far into moving forward with the other company, but when the time comes to replace the roofs on my other properties, Jorge will be the first person I call.
