They replaced the springs on the garage door but it would not close all the way. Called the to come back out and they wanted to charge me another $40 to fix their mistake. $149 for a service call? I called another company and they charge $88. Do not use these guys.

"Since your name is not posted I don't know who you are. We do not charge $149.00 for a service fee EVER. And if the problem is our mistake we do not charge to correct. Make sure you are reviewing the right company. My Home Advisor leads have been turned off for over 2 weeks so we have not done a job for them since the end of October."

This is the way service and repair ought to work all the time. Found the provider (Precision Door Service) via Home Advisor and was connected directly to them during the service "search". Precision called me with several appointment options and confirmed the desired, same-day appointment. The service tech called prior to arriving and was even able to come early. The service tech quickly assessed the problem and provided several reasonable options for repair (we chose new door) and the follow up repair/replacement appointment was made on the spot for the next day. Different service tech arrived on time (after prior notification) and completed repair/replacement as agreed. Overall cost was reasonable and fair. Would highly recommend Precision Door to anyone needing garage door service and repair and we will certainly use them again when we replace the second door in the house. Thanks to all those I dealt with (back office scheduling and information, initial tech visit, and follow-on tech replacement visit. Completely satisfied!!
