 I am glad we chose Precision Garage Door of Austin with Shane Murphy as the technician. They kept us informed of the scheduling and he was able to do the repair / replacement of our garage door openers the same day. Shane explained our options up front, from the minimum to get us up and working to the fanciest option with the most features. There was no upsell pressure, he was fine with whatever we wanted. We chose the "medium" option, not the top of the line but better than we had. Shane was friendly, helpful, professional and did a great job. I would recommend him to anyone.

Daniel Richie was our repairman. He was professional, an expert installer and respectful. He replaced our worn hardware and installed a new motor taking time to explain the new features. We are very happy with his work and recommend Precision for garage door help.

My old garage door opener made a grinding noise and became totally unresponsive. Precision Garage Door promised same-day service, and their technician, Jeremy Malek, showed up in a couple of hours. He confirmed that my old opener needed to be replaced, and gave a clear description of the alternatives. We decided on a LiftMaster wall-mount opener. Jeremy did a neat job of installing it. The LiftMaster wall-mount (jackshaft) opener connects directly to the torsion bar, eliminating the need for the ceiling-mounted motor and track of conventional openers. There’s no chain or screw to be lubricated, and it’s very quiet. I also appreciate the battery backup, which enables the opener to be operated during a power outage. Precision Garage Door’s prices are on the high side, but if cost is not your overriding concern, you’ll appreciate the quality of their openers, their well-organized website and customer communications, and the speed and competence of their service.

Shane came in, told us exactly what needed to be fixed and guess what, project complete. Was the price fair, I guess so... Time will tell if the springs hold up, fingers crossed. Thanks, Shane.

Phil did a great job replacing our garage door opener. He thoroughly checked out the broken opener and gave us options for replacing it. He installed the new opener in a short amount of time. We were very satisfied with the service he provided.

Checked out the garage door openers. Explained the lock mechanism and the powering down process of that particular motor. Advised me to sweep leaves from the bottom of the door in order to prevent remote interference. No charge. Under warranty. I am so pleased with him and with Precision. I shared his tips with my neighbors and will post my experience on our neighborhood Facebook page.

I’m sold! The communication initially was great! I was given a time frame as to when I was to expect him and a picture of him so I’d know who would be doing the work! He was very thorough in his information and he slagged us several options to look at and told us about the products, which product did more or less than the other. He answered all of my questions and helped us with everything from start to finish! I’ll refer for sure and really appreciated the experience from start to finish!

We needed a whole new garage door after the old one had an issue and nearly fell down on its own. It was 32 years old. Additionally, we had a 28-year-old garage door opener that we also chose to replace. The technician who came out, Isaiah White, was wonderful. He was very methodic and did a great job. Everything was kept very tidy as he worked, plus he did a great job with wire management. Isaiah easily managed to overcome a few issues that arose, such as the original wall button not working properly and needing a different unit, and the outside door seal being a bit tricky to install because the inside drywall came all the way to the edge where it would have been best to nail. All in all, it was a well-done job.

This was a very great experience with Precision Doors installing a new garage door. I was scheduled for an afternoon install but they had a morning opening that made my day efficient and productive. Having an earlier install allowed me to complete others projects I had pending! The technician was an awesome choice for the install - super friendly and courteous plus efficient and professional! Overall experience was AWESOME! I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a garage door install!
