So here is a quick rundown, of my experience with Precision Handyman: 18 Nov 2016 Proposal was sent and accepted 19 Nov 2016 Payment of $4352.69 was made (50% of total cost) 28 Nov 2016 Construction was supposed to start 3 Dec 2016 Received a message from contractor saying they would start on 6 Dec 2016 Not sure of the exact date, but got message that the owner had quit and gone back to AZ. New guy comes out to look at project, says they will get started soon. 19 Dec 2016 Received message from original contractor saying he was on his way back to Colorado and would pull the permit the next morning 30 Dec 2016 Received message saying they had the deck permit and underground locates done and would be dropping materials and augging holes first thing the next morning (THE PERMIT WAS NOT THE CORRECT ONE AND TO THIS DAY NO MATERIALS HAVE BEEN DROPPED. I DO HAVE QUITE A FEW HOLES IN MY BACKYARD THOUGH.) 3 Jan 2017 I asked if they had gotten the permit from the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (PPRBD, the Authority having jurisdiction) they replied: "No, we got it at Monument, but Pikes Peak is the inspecting agency" 3 Jan 2017 I received this message: "Good evening Jeff, we just left Pikes Peak Regional, after drilling the holes, and pulling the permit and plan approval in Monument, Pikes Peak wants us to add a class E liscence onto our liscence, they approved the plan but wont allow me to start the project and get tge holes inspected. I was willing to test out on the spot but they said its 3 weeks out to test out. We are over 700 in permits and equipment to dig the holes, due to debris being buried from when the house was built. We already have your materials purchased but the only wayto speed up the process is if you as the homeowner pull the permit but when it comes time for the inspections you have to be tge one to call and request it. We will get you past all the inspections for sure to code. Otherwise we are looking at soonest a 3 week delay. Im sorry to have to tell you this. We thought all was well." (I HAD TOLD THEM AT LEAST TWICE TO THIS POINT THAT THEY NEEDED TO GO THROUGH PPRBD TO GET THE NECESSARY PERMITS.) 4 Jan 2017 I sent them this: "I am really concerned. This is the second time you have asked me to pull a permit. I will tell you the same thing I told you weeks ago, no. The PPRBD website clearly states, "Never obtain a permit for a contractor, this is illegal and transfers all liability for injuries and work to you." I also told you weeks ago that you needed to get the permit through PPRBD and you kept assuring me that you had it under control. You even assured me yesterday, that you had it under control. Your company clearly is unfamiliar with the process here and now you're telling me you don't even have the appropriate license to be doing the work. If I thought that you would even consider it for a moment, I would be asking you for a full refund. But, since you stated in your last email that you have 700 in permits an

HORRIBLE! Hired to replace carpet with laminate. They promised to match product with kitchen flooring. Didn't match at all. Stopped project, they took product back. They refuse to refund our money and the job wasn't even completed, not even partially. I have to hire someone else to finish the job and the damage they did to my home. Also, the owner was extremely horrible to us. They claim to be AZ contractors, couldn't find this company registered with AZ.

I paid Precision Handyman Services on Nov. 18, 2016 to replace my deck. The contractor agreed to have the deck permitted, built to code, and done around Thanksgiving. He also acknowledged that there were tenants living in the unit and that they needed a way in and out since the wife is pregnant. There was one excuse after another. On November 29, 2016 the contractor stated that the materials would be in the following day and the deck would be done that week. It was supposed to be a 2-4 day project. On Dec 6, I contacted the contractor through text asking when the deck would be built and I was briefed that it would be done that weekend. Over a week later they started the deck. My yard was a disaster for awhile with the tear down materials of the old deck, as well as garbage left by the crew. On December 19, the tenants left and were briefed that there would be stairs up by the end of the day. When they got back, the stairs had been torn down with no new ones attached. They wanted to be with their stuff and dogs so they went and got a ladder to climb up to there unit. The contractor charged me another $750 to fix the stairs claiming the tenant tore down the beams. As of Jan. 6, 2017, I've had to pay a company to haul off all the tear down materials as well as tear down the new deck with no stairs. The contractor did not pull permits nor build the deck to code. I've lost countless hours and roughly 12K dealing with Precision Handyman Services.

I hired them to paint the entire interior of my home. They finished the entire job in 5 days. When they left my home was clean and it looked great. I would definitely recommend them to my best friends to do work.

Unreliable/ NO SHOW! The service was not performed because Jacob and his associates never showed up for the emergency repair they agreed to perform, per contract, three days prior, with 50% of the payment handed to them. Work was agreed to begin at 9:00 am, (on a Sunday) and after leaving four messages and calling Homeadvisor to see if they could locate Jacob, he finally called 5 HOURS LATER to say he was tied up with another job. Jacob then agreed to come at 5:30 p.m. because the work he agreed to perform was critical to keeping our full kitchen remodel on track for the countertop measure the next morning. This was clearly discussed at the time of the interview and signing of the contract. 30 minutes after he called and said he would come, Shelly, Jacob's assistant, called and said he COULD NOT come and that all their associates were also busy. Really?! There are more than three people working with Jacob and nobody could even make a phone call in five hours for OUR emergency situation after being paid, no less? Jacob's lack of consideration and professionalism left us with no time to find another drywall installer at that late time on a Sunday. Jacob failed to show us his license and insurance information and said it was on his website, listed on his business card. His card only had an email address. HIs business address turned out to be the local UPS store. Thankfully I was issued a refund, so that I didn't need to file a police report. Please, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Quick response, good, honest estimate, project completed on time even with two days of weather delays. I already have two new projects I will be hiring them for in the near future because the work was THAT GOOD! Nice to find honest, reliable folks. I highly recommend them.

Outstanding work

Jacob and his team were super professional, flexible and really good at what they do. We did more work with them than originally planned and were very happy with it. We have more projects that we plan to hire them for as well.

They did a great job and were very professional. We will definitely hire them again.
