Wood Flooring - Install or Completely Replace
Mr. Ready was hired to rebuild the main staircase in our home. We were unhappy with Mr. Ready's ability to do the "finish painting". We told him to stop and offered to pay him for the full amount of the original contract totaling $2,745. He apparently was upset about our complaint about his painting. He went back to our home, without authority, and destroyed all of his work. He ran a circular saw through all of the newly installed treads and risers. We paid him $2,245 for nothing and the job needs to be redone from scratch. Please feel free to contact us for further info.

I think the "small repair" I had in mind threw both Ken and myself for a loop. Ken is an artisan cabinet maker, and I don't think my cabinet gave him much to work with. My family and I are very happy with the final product, and are already catching ourselves saying, "I wonder how we ever did without this!". Our thanks to Ken and Precision Woodcraft. I'm sure we will contact Ken again should we have any cabinetry related needs!

Custom Cabinets - Build
Precision Woodcraft, Inc. built and installed beautiful new custom cabinets in a timely manner for a competitive price. Mr. Ready was responsive to our questions, and coordinated his installation effectively with the countertop and plumbing contractors. The result is very nice.

Great Job! Our deck was a real challenge. Many existing levels and a tree in the middle. It was a work in progress all the way. Ken was very open to changes as we went along. He kept to his quote within reason and we love our new deck. Plus, we also ended up with good friend in Ken.

very slow. work not very detailed oriented. He had to constantly make trips to the store to get material. Not very prepared.

"I did this project using the customers supplied sink, range hood, and dishwasher. The sink did not fit where the old sink was placed. I am not a plumber, and I did not have the parts in my truck needed to reconfigure the drain trap & disposal. It took several tries, and trips to Home Depot to get it right, however, I did not charge Mr. H., for this learning experience."

Problems with the fit and the aluminum siding popped up but Ken came up with solutions to both issues! He removed the siding and built up the door opening to make it a perfect fit. Ken spent extra time but finished the job. He was great!

We had a staircase re-built. Ken was very professional. His price was exactly as quoted. He took great care to do a quality job and make sure we were satisfied with the work. The staircase turned out great. We are very happy with the work and will recommend Ken to anyone who has a carpentry project.

This curved staircase was challenging me to the nth degree to remember formulas from my old college math classes with parabolas, and odd compound miter cuts. The staircase came out beautifully and I would do it a 100 times over for folks like these."

Got a free estimate the next day from Ken. The price was very reasonable. I ordered my cabinet, etc. from Lowes, and Ken stopped and picked it up in his own truck. Ken was able to start the job, right away, which I sure appreciated. He was thorough and very neat, cleaned up after his work and installed everything square and neat, too. My daughter-in-law loves her new under the sink cabinet and countertops. BTW, even though the work involved more than Ken expected, he stuck by his original labor estimate and only charged for the extra materials. (Which he was nice enough to go and get, too!) He's also a really nice, personable guy.
