I had someone come and grade my yard and they completely destroyed it… jack came and fixed everything and got it ready for sod and gave me a great price please consider Perfered landscape.

I wish I could give zero stars. Worst money we have ever spent. Terrible communication, horrible job and we had a hole in our backyard for 7 months. They started the project without a permit, never had the right material, took forever to respond to our text and now the area where they did the pavers collects about 2-3 inches of water every time it rains. They left the pavers sitting in the middle of our garage for months and every time we asked them to move them out of the way so we could park our car inside, they said they would come and never showed up. They broke our sprinkler system and our grass died, so we are having to spend a lot to recover it. They said they would pre wire lights and that was not done. When we complained about that and the water that is accumulating, Jack said he would come the following week and it is now been about 6 months. Definitely do not recommend. Do not hire them.

Jack came out on the and took care of the job early. The installer did a fantastic job and was very fast. He had a minimum charge and but too my small job anyway. I will use this company again for sure.

Placed sod but left it covering sprinkler heads and it isnâ t wedged in very well together and they placed it over holes so sod was levitating in the air. Not going to root if not touching the ground. I had to dig out a lot of sprinkler heads.

We have been using Preferred Landscape for the last 6 years. Very positive results with this company - Jack is extremely responsive - not only have they done continual lawn maintenance for us, but completed new rock/landscaping for all beds - honest people and hard working. Rob and his crew are consistently polite, courteous and communicative - always have the customer in mind. Keep it up!

Jack came and gave me. Verbal quote for a paver walkway and promised to send me a written bid that afternoon. I was ready to contract. He not only failed to send the contract but didn?t return my three follow up calls to him. Total failure.

They worked with me to bring the price down, when the original estimate was above my budget. Love my new backyard. Thank you

Very very quick, all things considered. We wanted to trim the branches away from the roof before the hurricane. They may have called at 9pm but they were out the next morning doing the inspection. We agreed on the price and it was done before noon.

We started this project due to weed grasses in existing zoysia that was about two years established, as well as weedy areas that had never been sodded. We were told that he would cut out the existing turf so that the sod laid would not have weeds. After the new zoysia sod was laid, there were many places with gaps between the pieces. The old weed grasses sprouted in those gaps, as well as some through the new sod pieces. So now we have fragile new sod onto which we can not spray anything for weed control, and from which it is more difficult to hand-pull the weeds. In the area where he removed existing zoysia, we would have been better off if he had done nothing. We bought more sod than his initial estimate, so the gaps were not due to trying to stretch it to cover too much area. He did not contact us anytime after the installation of the sod to see if we were satisfied.

Okay, never have I been more happy to write a review! They were prompt, clean, professional, and were hundreds of dollars under their competition. I would (and plan to) recommend them to my neighbors and family! Give them a try!!!

Jack's company, Preferred Landscape, exceeded my expectations. After my initial inquiry, I had a reply within 24 hours, met with him within 48 hours, had a bid within another 24 hours, and they were on the project three days later. As well as setting the job up, he was hand-on when needed. His crew was well-trained, courteous and professional. His crew chief, Cisco, was equally as good at his job., and was a good communicator. The final point that convinced me to hire Preferred Landscape was that Jack answered questions about other aspects of lawn and garden maintenance without any hint of strong up-selling. He let their work do that for them. Thanks, Jack!

Sod was super green and they installed 3700sqft in one day.
