secured bid, cashesd check for 1/2 of project. did very little and came back and asked for more money and then could not ever get them to come and finish job. Very poor service and would not answer phone calls from me. deposit check went thru too early and then phone disconnected. I have filed formal complaint to get the extra money back and a portion of depost. I had to hire someone else to finish project.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Repair
The contractor asked for me to pay the money upfront for a $150 repair. After going back and forth, I agreed to pay half upfront. He agreed to repair the roof on a Monday evening. I was out of town Sunday - Wednesday on business. When I returned the roof was not repaired. The contractor had cashed the check immediately and didn't repair my roof until I called back on Thursday. The small patch was repaired by Thursday afternoon. Thursday evening we had another storm and an additional shingle fell off very close to where the repair was made. This frustrated me as the contractor did not bother to give any additional advice on preventative maintenance on the remainder of the roof. Friday evening at 7:00 the contractor arrived at my house asking for the remainder of the payment. I told him I would mail him a check as I do for any other service I contract for my home. He insisted I pay him then instead. I managed to have him leave and sent the check through the mail as I promised. I did not mention the additional shingle that fell off the night before because it was worth paying an additional $150 to someone completely different to repair my
