RUN! DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM PREMIER CONCRETE!!!! Jimmy Harris is far from a professional that claims to be a veteran! I gave them a chance because I like to support up and coming small companies own by veterans since I am a 20 year veteran myself. My saga started in mid November last year and to date 06Feb22 the job has not been completed. Jimmy Harris needs to put on his big boy pants and man up if he is going to profess to be a professional! Towards beginning of January Jimmy Harris has failed to return any and all forms of communications via text or phone calls. Initially he went MIA for 10 ten days prior to the end of December after asking for money before the job was complete, which he received full payment plus gratuities. If it was not for the fact that I was able to get Stevens number there would have no comms. I contracted for two different back to back jobs involving 4 X 24 concrete slab, concrete stairs and stain 24 X 20 concrete pad and finally two more 24 X 32 concrete slabs. After the first job Jimmy swore everything on the punch list that remained to be taken care of would be and everything would be completed to my expectations. Same for the second job. I treated those guys fairly. Fed them on the job two different times and even gave them a sundries of various high price goods that I was no longer needing and could see they could benefit from them. Even paid them more then what I was quoted for the job all in the attempt to buy their utmost attention to detail to get them to perform the best job possible to include but not limited to attention to detail, no concrete over splatter and such. In others words an impeccable job. This was for both times. Initially I thought Jimmy Harris was struggling a little and because he was likeable when he ask for money two different times I thought I was helping him out. Broke the cardinal rule when it comes to making payment in full in the construction world before the job is done. Bottom line is there is concrete splatter covering the end of a new concrete driveway, excessive over stain at various points where they did not use tape to mask and prevent such, thus failure to pay attention to details. 24 X 20; freshly laid concrete pad that was not stained properly covering one third of the pad resulting in various multi light spots that can not be corrected unless the whole pad is done at one time. Which was the proverbial straw that broke the camels back because if he had finished that I would not be writing this review. Just got tired fighting him to complete the job properly. Completing a 24 X 4 concrete slab with a section of the 2x4 form missing. Which is now an uneven eye sore. Also to include I caught Harris numerous times back filling the forms with dirt and grass to minimize the amount of concrete used. In other words I do not believe I ever received a true 4 inch thick slab everywhere. And yes writing this review makes me angry about the concrete splatter on my new driveway. So... if your looking for a quality, attention to detail, to be completed in an expeditious manner, professionally done then DO NOT USE Premier Concrete. Pay the extra amount for a professional job. It will save you grief in the long run. If all you need is a cheap subpar job look no further. Total lack of communication, scheduling, logistics of having complete materiel on hand i.e: concrete and sufficient amount of forms, professionalism and attention to detail to just name a few. Personally, after dealing with Jimmy Harris I would not have him build a concrete pad for my trash cans. However your mileage may vary. RUN! DO NOT WALK AWAY from Premier Concrete and Jimmy Harris. This is my opinion based on personal experience.

It is my experience that Jimmy does not do what he says he will do and he has been unable to produce a valid license and unable to locate his actual place of business. I also have reason to believe that he has warrants for his arrests. Jimmy also claims he is military and his family member denies that is true and he has never severed a day in the military. He lists his business as Premier Concrete, which I learned from the secretary of state that this business is dissolved.

The fact is that these guys are frauds! Even though the concrete might look good now, unless you watch them, they will cut corners. I originally contracted them to extend my patio and resurface it and the sidewalk with stamped concrete. Also, they agreed to put up a gazebo as part of the contract and later a 4x18; driveway extension.. I live in an upscale neighborhood. When Jimmy Harris and crew finished setting up the forms to pour the patio it was 6pm. I thought they would go home and pour the next morning. No they worked into the night until 4am. The reason was that they could not get the concrete to set correctly due to their own incompetence. The concrete still seems wet to this day. They also did not finish the ends of the patio with any sort of footers. When I brought in another contractor, He pointed out voids underneath the patio where no concrete was ever poured. I pointed this out to Jimmy who brought folks with him that did a real sloppy job. The edges and under the sidewalk gate were a joke. I had to tell them 4 times to fix the gate door and the sidewalk surfacing would not allow the gate to close. I observed several times Jimmy becoming very agitated at his help to the point there might be a physical confrontation. After looking at Gaston Co. Court records I understood why. As for his partner Steven Jones, I observed a confrontation between him and Johnny I observed the same the last day they were there trying to put up a gazebo that Jimmy had agreed to do in the original contract. Jimmy had said he had put up Dozens of these gazebos in the past. The instruction manual said 2 men 6 hours. 3 men and 3days later,Steven told me they had finished. It was dark about 9 pm so I gave him the final payment. The next morning my wife and I discovered over 20 bolt holes in the roof. One roof panel fell off and the entire hardware pack and misc parts were gone. I called both partners and blew up as what they had done was to blatantly leave bolts out of roof panels which were very dangerous. I then called in another installer who did installation of Gazebos etc all day long . They said that the roof would have to come off and rebuilt using the correct hardware. at an additional cost to me of $400. I am currently still trying to clean up the mess and all this because of Premier Concrete.

They did a great job with a repair of our front porch. We were in a bind because we needed the work done ASAP. It was also a smaller job, bu they took it anyway, rearranged schedules, worked well into the evening to get it done. I looks great and I would highly recommend them.

BEWARE. Jimmy Dale Harris II of Premier concrete took an initial 50% deposit of $8,400 and then completely disappeared off the map. I checked with the materials supplier he used and when the order arrived, they were unable to reach him and had canceled the order. I was able to still get the materials from the materials supplier, SiteOne, but Jimmy never paid for the materials with my deposit so I had to pay around $4,000 out of pocket to buy the materials myself. It has been over a month since I hired Jimmy and paid an $8,400 deposit. No work has been done. Though I have had successful projects in the past I am extremely dissatisfied with this project and outcome.

Jimmy talks a good game about all he is able to do and how professional he is. Well, after hiring him, I found out the opposite is true.... I hired him to install a retaining wall. His crew could not even put up a level wall and left garbage all over the site. Jimmy and his wife/girlfriend came to put rock siding on the front face and try to make it look level put rock siding on the top. They did not complete, the rain came, and the rock siding came off, they did not fill the area in with dirt between the garage wall and retaining wall and the garbage all over remained. Many calls and texts were to him Jimmy to please the work. He many excuses and promises to complete the job but that never happened. I am left with an unfinished area. Do Not Fall for it!! Jimmy at Premiere Concrete is unethical and a con man. His workmanship is extremely shoddy. I cannot believe he does not spend his life in small claims court.

Jimmy and Stephen are fantastic to work with and want you to be happy with the work quality. I'm a developer and deal with tradesmen for a living, Premier are insured, skilled contractors and reasonable, they did a deck install for me and it's awesome. Hire these guys, they're great

They did an excellent job at a low cost. Others were wanting way more for the job. I went with Premier Concrete and can't even see where the steps had a problem. He even cleaned up before he left. If anyone needs anything dealing with brick steps or anything dealing with brick, motor and concrete....CALL PREMIER CONCRETE FIRST!!!!!!!!! Can send before and after pictures if needed.

This company is a scam. End of story. It?s sad because you want to give a local smalller company business instead of hiring a big company and how did that work out for me? Terrible. Jimmy is poor at planning out his work. If you say you?re going to be somewhere a certain day at a certain time for a job then be there. I understand weather can get in the way but weather doesn?t explain the fact that jimmy has ghosted me and not completed the work i have paid for. BEWARE. DO NOT HIRE HIM unless you are okay with half completed work that you will either have to finish yourself or hire someone else to clean up the sloppy job.

I hired Jimmy to do a retaining wall. He talks a good game, I stand, by my work, I guarantee my work etc. My question back to him is, why do not you finish your work? He and his team were messy and the job is incomplete. They left plastic drinking cups all over the work area, left debris on my driveway. The front face of the retaining wall the brick work is falling off, they never filled in the retaining wall area with fill dirt. I have contacted him for months and it is the same old song and dance of excuses. This job was half assed for sure. Do not fall for his promises, he doesnâ t live up to them nor provide a professional or even completed project. I made the mistake of paying him right at end before the work was quite completed. I havenâ t seen him since, it has been 2 months.

Jimmy said he stood behind his work, it was guaranteed and he promised to come back if there were any problems. This is not true. I have been testing and calling Jimmy because my husband and I would like to meet with him regarding some concerns we have with the concrete. There is a cloudy film on the concrete, it is not level where the concrete meets our old patio, the stain has run, there is no stain in one section and a dark puddle in another, and now the concrete has cracked. I have tried to contact Jimmy every few days over the past month or so, waiting between calls because I know he is busy. It is now apparent, that he has no intentions of getting back to me. Jimmy seemed genuine in wanting to do a good job for us, however, the work was rushed. He was going to seal only a few hours after he stained, but could not because it started was raining. It also rained an hour after he sealed. He did t seem to be aware of the weather, but I believe that the rain is part of the issue with our concrete. When I called him after the job was done to let him know there was a film on the cement, he responded that it was not there when he checked. His final walk through was a quick check with his buddy and they left without even talking to me. His crew was sloppy - cigarette butts strewn all over our property, our hose left stretched across our shared drive when they left for the night and and they even left our hose running all night. That was a $50 surprise on our water bill. My husband and I raked up 3 bushels of concrete pieces because they just shake their tarp on the lawn. When I hired Jimmy, I really thought he would stand by his word and try to work through some of our concerns. It is frustrating to be unhappy with a rushed job, but it is more annoying that Jimmy did not stand by his word.

Jimmy aims to please in all the work he does. He checks in with you at every step to make sure the customer is satisfied. I trust him to do what was promised. We were very pleased with the stamped concrete patio he made for us.

It took a while for them to actually come out to start the job, but once they began they stayed with it until finished. A very hard worker.

Jimmy was extremely professional, friendly and literally stayed until 10:30 at night cleaning everything up once he was done. Customer service at its best!!!

Very unprofessional company. They left a worker stranded at my house for hours with no work to do for the first day. They wanted to borrow my tools to cut the tree roots that were in their way. They do not communicate well with the customer. They started my small 16 of fence almost 2 months ago. They planted 5 posts and have not been back nor have they communicated with me regarding the delays. They ordered lattice from Home Depot and have not been in touch with me with any kind of status on the order or when they plan to come back. They have the posts cemented in place but have not filled in the holes and they left a pile of concrete in my grass. I fired them yesterday. I am glad I did not pay them the half payment they wanted for this work. My only recommendation is **Hire at your own risk**
