Premier Heating & Air

We built a new house with an industrial NY loft design inside. We previously lived in a 1930s-era converted warehouse and copied many elements in the new house. That included an exposed round metal A/C duct on the first floor. All hangers were to be industrial types. From the beginning, I had to stop them from taking installation shortcuts like using a cheap hanging strap. To their credit, they did correct those issues. However, a big problem remains which is the A/C grills. They installed adjustable aluminum grills. In winter they expand and contract with a very loud popping and banging noises. It is so loud it sometimes wakes us up upstairs. This is our third winter and has had Premier out the last two winters to make adjustments. Last year it became obvious that the solution is not to continually tighten the screws. Thermal expansion quickly negates that effort. I provided photos of the round metal duct grills we had in our old warehouse loft. Those were silent and I asked them to replace the adjustable aluminum grills with non-adjustable galvanized steel grills. They never responded. As I type this review I am forced to listen to the loud pops and bangs coming from the grills Premier stuck me with.

Everyone was patient. When I asked questions, they took time to explain how the system worked, why the old one wasn't working, and the steps being taken as my system was being installed. Just really pleased with the whole experience.

They showed up on time and did a quality job. We had an issue with our AC after install and someone came right out to fix it. Great experience.

They have a very knowledgeable very puntuall idea they know all aspects of working on and cleaning a furnace and will let you know if there is something that needs to be replaced.

Great experience.. .being a dad and looking for a HVAC system for my daughter I interviewed 3 high class companies and Premier was the winner on their presentation/systems/warranty.. The good news is their service and installation lived up to their presentation She had an new HVAC system within a week with great price and terms.. Their sales person followed up with us and small hiccups were taken care of promptly and efficiently. All good news and would encourage a look at their sales/service as their voice represents their actions..

Excellent and personable service

Our furnace was acting up and Premier came out right away. They inspected our furnace and actually showed us what was wrong and explained it to us. We ended up getting a great deal from them on a new American Standard furnace and air conditioning unit. The products work well, the warranties are the best I have seen, and the unit were installed right away. We needed the furnace before a snow storm came, so they made room for an emergency install. Their customer service was amazing, all the guys were very respectful and made sure we were completely happy before they left. The financing option was great too! I will never call another heating or air company again, these guys are the best!

Kelly has been great to work with. He was quick to respond and really knows what he is talking about. Premier may not be the least expensive option but the quality of their work and their excellent customer service make the difference. I will always use Premier for my HVAC needs and will recommend them to others.

The Premier Heating & Air Team spent the kind of time necessary to educate us, & get us up to speed about the key elements related to the substantial replacements & updates needed to reinstate the integrity of the heating & cooling systems within our home. We came across several reputable Heating & Air professionals -- but in all honesty --were "troubled"…. had "red flag concerns" when 2 of our other HVAC professionals insisted that they deal with only 1 or 2 system suppliers. One company insisted "Rheem" was their only savior. The other said they would only install "Amana" or "Bryant." While my own independent search showed that most all brands came down to being manufactured by 1 of 2 major fabricating firms -- and that one huge determinant of longevity for most systems, was in the expertise of selecting proper size for the heating / or cooling tasks --- And last but not least -- professional engineering of the installations. Premier has their preferred recommendations for brands-- but, I liked it -- that they did not insist on pushing 1 brand on you, over others… and they admitted their are pluses to many of the main brands -- & that proper matching for needs + proper installation - are key to success. So-- Premier has the essential elements of long-term customer satisfaction down pat -- when they are generous with the time they spend to educate you on the products, and your home's HVAC needs. I knew less than zero about HVAC furnace and air-conditioning parts and options-- and their expert engineer sales pro never rushed me, or skipped over important factors. He helped us find the brands, and financial tools to get the job done right. We wouldn't have been able to honor the beautiful HVAC system that our builder -- 35 years ago laid the foundation for -- had Premier not been able to point us to supports for free multi - year financing, … to enable us to have 2 new furnaces, and 2 new air conditioners -- so that all could be installed at once-- to enhance the "whole- system." We didn't need to gimp along with 1 lame furnace, paired with 1 power-house new furnace-- & the same for the cooling. We had 1 lame, and one 35 yr OK -- but who knows when it will fail…? We now have all new, & matching, & none of the 4 main heating or cooling elements can be pointed to, to be the "weak link" that could hamper the whole HVAC. There is a lot to be said for "the whole being greater than the sum of the parts." After our Premier sales engineer provided us his bid, and financing plan-- we checked with my ex- husband who is a P.E. - Electrical Engineer - -he then conferred with our high school friend who is also a heating & cooling engineer professional. He said the best thing we could do for ourselves is replace the major elements simultaneously -- which ONLY Premier showed us the way to do so. Who has the price of a modest new vehicle laying around -- in our case -- in excess of 20 k… yes-- that's in excess of 20 thous

The service/warranty they provided was better than all the competitors and they offered 60mo no interest financing that was quick and easy approval. I worked primarily with Kelly and the experience was great!

They gave me the best price out of several contractors that I contacted about the job needed.

Classic HVAC company - which is sad because they were so highly recommended. Came in and spent the estimate period knocking all of my equipment, how it was installed, and the quality of the install. I expected that, so it was par for the course. What I DIDNT expect was them blatantly lying about the warranty period for the A/C condenser I was buying. I later checked American Standards Warranty and the estimator had flat out lied to me about what the warranty period would be. I would never use them again, because when you are spending thousands of dollars you have to trust the company.

Great experience. We needed a Furnace and AC unit. Jordan came out for the initial bid and worked with us as we got other bids and was patient and never pushy. Once we decided on premier, Jess and his crew did great job with the installation and explaining the operations and ongoing maintenance. Very satisfied with the overall experience and would highly recommend premier for any job.

Great company, knowledgable and Upfront

The air condition was completely out of freon caused by a bad leak. They filled it and and theywill be out in a few weeks to install a new air conditioner.
