I was referred to Ron by one of my coworkers (Jake S. from another review here) who was very happy with the custom house Ron and Premier Homes built for him. I was planning a 400 ft^2 workshop/garage/storage building, and had previously gotten a quote for $62,000 from another builder. Ron s quote was $38,000 and surpassed the competitor s specs by including all four exterior walls in brick which matched my home, a storage space in the attic, and an extra 8 power outlets. Ron was great to work with throughout the entire process, and he was happy to answer any questions I had about the process, the construction, code, or just building in general. As a typical do-it-yourselfer (a 16-foot tall building is a little outside of my comfort zone), I have inspected my house inside and out looking for other projects, and I can tell the materials and methods Ron used in my workshop are far superior to those used in my house. He was also very flexible with the project. After they broke ground, I asked him to add a pedestrian entrance instead of just the garage door. He found a door that matched the house and only charged the cost of the door. Same thing happened when I chose to go with a custom-sized garage door. He did not try to take advantage of my budget; once he learned I was comfortable with a hammer, he suggested I drywall it myself, which would save $1600. Instead of finishing the project and telling me good luck, he took me to the local hardware store and helped me pick out the appropriate type and quantity of materials to put up the drywall, and even brought it to my house in his truck! And one of the best parts, there was no over budget. I wrote him a series of nine checks, the amounts of which were the same the day I wrote them as they were quoted before the project began, and I could see the progress occur with each payment. There was never any doubt where my money was going. And he did not just arrange subcontractors and vanish; he was on the job site constantly, making sure everything was done right. I have got a list of other jobs I am planning on contracting with him, and look forward to working with him again. I am eager to give him more of my business, and I cannot think of any higher praise than that!

I am extremely fortunate to have met and worked with Ron Del Beni and Premier Homes of Sumter to build my new home. As a soon to be first time homeowner, I traveled to Sumter from San Antonio, TX to view and tour homes. A friend recommended I tour and speak to Ron while I was in town. I toured one of Rons custom built homes, which was still under construction, after viewing a couple of other houses in the area. I immediately fell in love with the quality, look, and attention to detail that was present in every aspect of the home. Ron personally spent an hour of his own time walking me through the house and explaining how he upgrades his homes above the average builder, and how he insists on using higher quality products and people to complete the construction of his homes. It definitely shows in his work. I was extremely impressed and put an offer down shortly after touring that home. Ron s great work is well known, as after only a couple of days on the market and still under construction, there was already an accepted offer on the house I just toured. Ron reached out to say he had a better lot in mind and could build the same house I toured on the new lot for me. Ron was very fair when negotiating a contract to build my home. As an officer in the Air Force, I was not yet stationed at Shaw AFB and was unable to oversee any of the construction until it was already about 90% completed. Ron sent almost daily updates including pictures and detailed descriptions of the progress he was making on the construction of my home. It was very clear that Ron deeply cares about building a quality home and kept me in the loop throughout the entire construction and home buying process. He made himself available for questions any time I had them, even though I was 2 time zones away. Ron even sent me color swatches in the mail so I could properly pick the paint color for my walls and stain for kitchen cabinets. When I arrived in Sumter, my home was about 90% completed. Ron took time to schedule appointments for both of us to view and pick out the hardwood floor, kitchen and bathroom tile, bedroom carpets, and granite for the kitchen and bathrooms. Ron even picked me up and drove us to the businesses where we would make those decisions. When it came time to pick out appliances, Ron again picked me up, drove us to Columbia, and spent time helping me pick out the best appliances for my home. Ron was with me every step of the way during my home buying, building, and moving process. He was always available and happy to answer any question I had. Ron goes above and beyond to ensure his homes will meet and exceed your expectations and will work with you to customize any addition or enhancement you may want on your home. I am extremely happy to have worked with Ron, and appreciate all of his help throughout my home buying and building processes. I have and will continue to recommend Ron to friends and family. Premier Homes of Sumter with owner Ron Del Beni builds an exceptional high quality well-constructed home. My family and I have been Sumter residents for over 20 years. What a pleasure it was working with Ron during the construction of our new custom home. Just the fact of dealing with a local businessman and being able to talk face to face is a plus by itself not to mention he is still available here locally if we were to have any warranty issues unlike the big name builders who are here then gone. Premier Homes builds high Quality, lasting homes. They build a home like they would build it for their self. I was treated like a family member. The owner guided and advised me through the whole process. His subs were awesome. We had a mess left by another builder and he stepped in cleaned it all up; and we couldn't be happier. He was not the cheapest, but the work he does is excellent value for the money. Trying to get out cheap with the other builder is what caused my mess in the first place. Our new home is better than we dreamed of. I am proud of my new home.
