"It is unfortunate that you are posting negative and untrue comments and reviews on various sites. I can only assume that this I due to me telling you that I was not interested in doing the future work that you asked me to do. I have multiple emails from you commending us and praising our work to myself and to your insurance company. Regarding the tile, I have told you numerous times via email, text and phone calls that if the tile staining was from us, we would rectify it. I advised you to hold back a partial payment of $2830.83 until the situation was resolved. I had an outside marble company come in and clean it and I have emails and texts from you that the marble was ok and you would like to try to get the grout cleaner. Your exact words were WOW looks amazing can you send them one more time to clean the grout. The pictures you are submitting are the images from before it was cleaned. When I contacted the marble company, upon the fourth and final cleaning, they stated that they believe the issue was not from the cardboard above, that it was coming from the setting bed. They said it would not take days for the stain to reappear if it was from the top. They believe that when the tile gets wet something is wicking from below and the setting bed is reacting to the water, which can cause oxidation or rust colored staining. We had a conversation in the very beginning before any work commenced that the shower floor is not pitched correctly which creates standing water and would need to be ripped out to be repaired properly. Your response was that the shower is very rarely used. When I advised you of the findings from the stone company you responded aggressively and accused me of lying. I told you to bring in your own expert or engineer and again, if it was from us we would take care of it. You were calling, texting, and emailing in an obscene manner. You are making false claims stating that I have called you names, which is untrue. I told you that you were being unreasonable and I asked you to stop calling me after hours and to please have all the correspondence through email. You have called me a child, dumb, accused me of having issues with woman and posted a review on google calling me a baby and saying I have no knowledge. Even after that, I told you if you removed the review we could move forward, and you refused. I have tried to go above and beyond to accommodate you. I have never had a customer say the things you are saying and posting in the 30 years I have been in the construction industry. I take a great deal of pride in our quality and craftsmanship and my customer relations; I have never received a negative review for work we have performed. You are currently now, in April 2025 accusing the HVAC company of not performing the duct cleaning. Your duct cleaning was performed in October 2024 for the mold remediation. Your home has undergone complete reconstruction in the 7 months that have past and I informed you that your insurance company would not pay for a second cleaning after construction. Duct cleaning was part of your insurance claim to clean for mold spores, not post construction cleaning. I feel that the situation you have created has prevented us from being able to continue our relationship any further. We have been unable to come to an agreement regarding the original installation problems with your shower floor and what is actually causing the staining. You have not paid me in full for the contract amount and are still in possession of the $2830.83 that I told you to hold back. At this point I am willing to forfeit the final payment and part ways."
