Do NOT hire him. Joe took a $10,000 deposit from us for a fence job in May and has still not built us a fence or returned our money. He had every excuse as to why it was taking so long but never showed any proof. He is a scammer.

Wonderful group of men. Very informative and felixable to what I wanted within reason. My one issue....timeliness. I believe an expert in their field should know the time frame of the job, add a contingency just like they do with cost, consider other jobs they are commited too and not over promise. That being said, the work done by Preservation Special was excellent work and I would hire them again. But I am still going to expect an expert should be realistic with timeliness.

This was for a cedar fence. The price was clearly quoted and a bit lower than the competition. They were available sooner than the competition also. The work started on time and completed as agreed in spite of weather delays. They also credited us back for a portion of material contingency.
