Pressure Cleaning by Steve

It did not take him very long. I have a very long driveway-because he left me with a puddle o dirty water at the end of the driveway. I need to call another to finish the job. They were way overpriced for a terrible job. Sorry!

We used Steve's services to pressure clean and seal our driveway and back patio. Steve was courteous, professional, and seemed knowledgeable about sealants. A few weeks after we noticed that some spots were missed, which I understand is pretty common when sealing. Steve was great about coming back and going over the missed spots.

Steve presents himself very well, and I selected him based on his trustworthiness, and his knowledge of the virtues and limits of water-based sealants VS solvent-based sealants. Apparently if you've used a water-based sealant on your pavers previously, you need to stay with water-based for future seals, or you'll get a milky finish. I saw this to be true with neighbors driveways. Steve came out a few days in a row to pressure wash the roof, pavers, and pool enclosure, and seal the pavers. He wasn't able to completely finish the pressure washing of the pool enclosure the first time he came, so he promised to come back after the sealant had dried to complete the job. And although it took him awhile to do that (his pressure washer broke), he made good on his word and even went the extra yard to touch up some extra areas. I highly recommend Steve. He has a solid work ethic, a very pleasant disposition, and is generally a joy to work with. However, I do feel compelled to mention that with regards to the wet look water-based sealant Steve used called Cobble Loc, while it does change the color of the pavers to the color they would be when wet (like after rain), it doesn't really give them that wet lacquer look - like a solvent-based sealer might. Overall I am satisfied with the result, but it was just not as shiny as I expected. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just different than I expected. I think it's important to manage expectations before the job, perhaps with sample pavers (before and after), etc.

Steve is a great person and does a marvelous job. He was timely, very friendly, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend to anyone and I will be using him again.

Steve was very personable and he knows his business. He arrived on time for the scheduled work. Half way thru the project he had a pump go down and was unable to finish. He said he would be back on Sunday to finish and he was there on time. The roof looks good and he glued a broken tile back into place. Nice job!
