"The above comments are completely false. I was told that the S. had hired another Electrician to replace an old recessed fuse box and he couldn't do the work. The previous Electrician had already purchased a replacement panel, no other supplies had been purchased. My partner and I used the already purchased panel. I did have to provide the new service cable, wire connectors and other misc. supplies needed to complete the job. The problem with recessed panels is that the wires are already in the walls and are difficult to put into a new panel. In order to do that we had to open the sheetrock around the panel to install the required connectors for each circuit. We ran the new service cable from the new panel to an existing disconnect in the garage, and brought all the old circuits into the new panel and terminated them. We re-established power. All our debris was cleaned and swept up, including the garage. Now as to sheetrock repair. I went back and put sheetrock patches around the new panel but I don't do mudding and painting, I'm bad at it, I told them that they were going to have to have someone come in and mud and paint around the panel. I also told them that if there were any problems to call me and I would do my best to take care of them without further charge, that's my guarantee for my work. I haven't heard from them. I have copies of all receipts for the materials that were purchased, nothing was unnecessary. The price they were charged was fair and for material cost and the time invested by myself and my partner. I DON'T GIVE REFUNDS. I'm not a store. Construction isn't straight forward...you can't predict everything about a job until the wall is open and you can see what's really there, and sometimes this means that the cost might end up being more than was initially anticipated, that's why they are called estimates. I'm always open to a client calling me and expressing a concern. we'll go over it, I'll do what I can. But when you go behind me, and do something like this where you post a bad review, make false, generalized claims, then I won't work with you. The bottom line is I'm an Electrician, I'm not a Carpenter, Mason, Sheetrocker, Jack of all trades. I do Electrical work and I guarantee my Electrical work. If the power is on and things are operating correctly, then I've done my job well. And if there is a problem with said power, then I expect an adult to pick up the phone and call me and tell me about it."
