Home Advisors suggested Primo, when the previous storm chasers refused to properly complete the roof replacement and left the siding job dangling far beyond insurance deadlines. Primo talks a good talk, but like many others, left all the details and instructions on the cutting room floor, sends in subcontractors whose BOSS never appears and uses the language barrier to allow the slam, bam, thank you ma'am to do only as they please. The undone roof flashing remains undone, the trim must have run out so the last miss-cuts were used, the bow window styrofoam undies are still exposed, their temper tantrum at having to remove ROT caused torn vinyl, a broken central air conditioner, other professionals had to do them and then some to cover their lack of knowledge at garage door trim and they even managed to fool the insurance co. they passed inspection, forcing payment in full. When they did not return as promised last spring, I reminded; went unanswered. The man who they contracted to repair windows and install the door was the only decent guy of the LOT. Friendly is just their mask. Would you want them to return after abuse? And when you have no more to invest? And when your cities inspection dept. is infested and paid off? What then? SIDING IS NOT PLASTIC SURGERY, it is always an exploratory surgery and rot must be removed or warranty can be voided. THEY DO NOT WANT EXTRA WORK, have no expertise, do not want to be slowed down and of course, insurance carriers LOVE THEM, as nobody cares about your home, which you paid insurance to recover at today prices and necessary improvements to avoid SAME OLD. Both Primo and their **competitor** To Serve should refund a minimum of HALF they took, so might the search continue for truly decent, honest labor who honor long time homeowners who only HAVE a roof due to lifetimes of **slaving** unpaid for what matters and for those who taught them by their own good ways of doing same and all they could to clear the way for the next crew for those things requiring PROFESSIONAL as in TOP NOTCH, proven by results and lasting.

We initially chose Primo from our first impression. They were very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. We were not disappointed. They did an amazing job residing our home. They were able to recreate the Tudor look for the front of the house, per my request. The vinyl siding on the rest of the house is amazing. I would completely recommend Primo for any projects you might be considering.

We talked to Jim initially, picked out colors, went through everything being done including the old roof vents being removed helping with ice dam issues, the old kitchen vent being covered over, etc, and were repeatedly assured that the job would be completed well before a September wedding being held in our yard. The loan was completed on 6/6/18. We didn't hear anything from them for a while, figured that siding order was being done. Windows that were being replaced were measured on 7/19/18. Again went a length of time without hearing anything from them. Called Jim on 8/30, was told we would get a callback. Did not. Called again on 9/6 and was told that he would have someone call. Got a call on 9/10 that they would start the next day and would call back about the dumpster, no callback. 9/11 crew showed up but no promised supervisor, again on 9/14. They also left our outdoor animal pen doors both open as well as shutting off heat lights. Used the bathroom and left the toilet seat up. All of the potted plants were pulled away from the house while working but not put back and they got flooded, losing many of them. Basement also flooded without the gutters. 9/24 Still haven't seen them back. 9/25 called Jim again, he says he doesn't work there anymore but will send numbers for contacting someone else, he didn't. Also didn't hear from anybody else. 9/29 They showed up and finished siding and trim, again no supervisor to talk to and they had not removed the old roof vents, they went over them, and they also redid the wall vent instead of just removing it and covering over it. 10/3 Called about the window trim and the gutters, Was told trim would be done on 10/6 and possibly gutters depending on the weather. 10/6 Trim installed in bathroom window only. 10/9 Skids were removed from the front lawn where they have been sitting since the job started. No other cleanup: everything pulled away from the house is still there along with the removed windows in the backyard. 10/16 Called to find out when the gutters were going to be done. No answer. Left message to call us back. No return call. 10/17 Crew shows up to install gutters (sub-contractors). Walked around house WITH ME, discussed the install, went over the drawings. So far the only people that have done so before working. Another vehicle showed up later and picked up the removed windows from the backyard and left. No replacement of items pulled from the house. No call to discuss the work or what we feel still needed to be done. Basically zero communication, with us or the workers, not done when they absolutely promised it would be, stomped through and flattened the gardens about 5 feet around the house, and was highly disappointed with the experience. The work itself seems to be fine but whoever was supposed to be in charge of the job if anyone, dropped the ball since Jim was no longer there, we seemed to be constantly forgotten about. Never got a call asking what we thought of the job or

I’m really happy with the end result, turned out better than expected.

The first two estimates were considerably lower than the final cost. Other than that, Tyler was easy to work with and the job was done well. I am waiting to see if they can work with my insurance to get replacement windows. Overall, I am happy with the service and price.

Never lifted a finger and new windows are in! And look good. We needed to match one window with an old stained frame. It came as close as I could have hoped for. Some extra attention was needed because of my older home, but was done at no extra charge. Installers were on time and competent. Our representative "Chris" from Primo was always available for questions & final inspection. Windows are ready for the next Minnesota winter. (More than I am)

Tyler was the project Manager. He was great to work with. He was punctual, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Crew showed up on time completed on time and did an excellent job cleaning up upon completion.
