Responded well to the needs of the painting project and completed the outdoor job efficiently and expertly. The crew and Alex had a plan and adhered to it as closely as possible even with unfavorable weather conditions.

Alex (owner) is a pleasure to deal with. Prompt, polite, trustworthy, knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to hire again for any home improvement/repair project. My window repair job was a bit troublesome, but Alex and Jerson came up with a solution to make it work!

Original contact number was lost somehow in the system. I do not know if it was HomeAdvisor or Prism Painting. Consequently, did not get a quote right away. Not a problem, but I had to follow up with HomeAdvisor to see what happened. Quote was good, and we had the work done without any complications. Will use them again for another project.

We had scheduled someone to be at our house between 8 and 8:30. By 9 no one had shown up yet. We tried calling several times leaving messages to figure out what was going on. We finally heard back at 11 and the excuse was that they had been caught up on a job and would be there around 1. Someone finally showed up at 1:30. He measured the window, which had been done during the estimate, and then told us he had to go to home depot to buy the window. Almost an hour later (home depot is ten minutes from our house) he returned and installed the window. The work was well done but the time it took to actually get the project done and the fact that we did not receive a courtesy call to say they were running late would make me not hire this company again.

I hired Alex and his crew to install a new backyard fence for my dogs and his job was SUPERB!! The crew members were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They completed my new fence in a matter of days. The workmanship was Oustanding!!! I definitely recommend Prism House Painting for any of your home improvement needs. Sandra T. 😀

Easy to work with. Open for different projects for painting and staining. Dependable. All the contractors I had have to be strongly reminded to replace things they moved and clean up. Put it in your contract. Prism will return to do this if needed.

I've hired Alex and his team at least twice now for major painting of the inside and outside, and some minor carpentry work. Reliable, honest, reasonable, kind, and professional.

Alex contacted me through the Home Advisor website. We set up an appointment to review the work that I need to be completed. Alex never showed up for our scheduled appointment and never called to explain or reschedule. To be fair to Alex, I called him but was unable to make contact. If Alex is unable to meet for a schedule appointment, I find it very hard to believe that he would be competent or reliable enough to complete any work agreed upon. If I had known that Alex would have wasted my time, I would have had another contractor scheduled instead. Being a professional not only means having the skill and ability to do a job, but treating your customers or potential customers with decency. I do not recommend this contractor, unless you'd be willing to take a chance that your business might be important enough to receive the courtesy of being called or having an appointment taking place as scheduled. Good luck with that.

when they came to give a quote i made it clear i wanted the same paint that was on the wall( glossy light beige) ...they painted it with flat white paint and the walls are different colors...my landlord is fining me 500 dollars unless i get the walls painted back to its original color...very dissatisfied !!!!!

Very easy to talk with Alex, and his team completed the project when they said they would, except for rehanging one gate. Alex said they would return promptly to do that. I was pleased with the work they completed. I sent a check for payment in full. I trusted them to come back and complete the job. That was three months ago. The gate is still not repaired. I have called, texted, left messages. No response. The un-repaired gate is a code violation, by the way, so it is a serious inconvenience, as opposed to a simple one. I was really pleased and by now am really disappointed by this company. Quality suffers when there's a mishap in communication like this one. I would advise people to skip Prism Painting and go elsewhere, and wherever you go, don't send a check without the work being fully completed.

Alex got in touch me with quickly, came out to give me an estimate, called me back within 48 hours to give me the estimate, and then actually completed the job ahead of schedule. Very friendly and trustworthy crew. Highly recommended.
