Pro Basement was quick to respond to all our inquiries, from the initial request for quote to the permit process, scheduling the work and managing inspections to the finishing. Couldn't ask for a more efficient team. We are very happy with the egress window they put in for us and would recommend them to anyone considering doing business with them.

Reached out right away, scheduled work to be completed by the middle of the same week. Great clean work.

There is nothing pro about his company. The service was awful. When Larry talks to you the first time, you would think that they are really pro, but soon you realize that it is just lies, for example, the contract says that a project manager will be assigned to oversee the work, there is none. The job was delayed over two months, several parts of the job had to be redone two or three times. Poor communication with Larry, when you confront him with issues and ask questions, he basically dodges your questions. It seems like he randomly brings people off the street and assigns them to your job for that reason the job needs to be redone because the quality was so poor. To summarize, it was a terribly frustrating experience, and I would not recommend their service to anybody. You do not want to go through hell and waste your money.

I can honestly say that working with Pro Basement was the WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. We were initially told our project would take 3 days and 15 days later we were finally finished Workers were extremely inexperienced and unprofessional. They only worked 5-6 hours a day and by the end of the project (because of staffing issues) the only two workers on our project had less than 6 months experience combined! Our finished concrete was terrible and looked as if the installer had never done it before. I had to essentially teach and explain how to pour the concrete to have a good finish. After numerous times of having them come back because of bad work or forgotten items we paid for, I asked Larry to come out and look at the work to see if it was up to his standards (he never came to look at the job). He insulted my character and integrity immediately because I was unhappy with the project. He sent over the only reasonable worker to collect payment and would not talk to me. We unfortunately ended up paying full price for a terrible job just to get Larry out of our lives. On top of everything, they never cleaned anything up or covered our furniture so we were left with a massive cleanup of concrete dust and left over tools/materials everywhere. I also ended up with a stained and ruined stamped concrete patio due to these workers. I hope that this project was a fluke, but I feel that Larry is the real problem. Run away!!!!!

The good: They installed a good looking window for a good price. The bad: They did not tarp off the basement very well, even after I mentioned the lack of coverage. I had to scramble to hang my own plastic tarp and cover furniture as mud and dirt flew all over the basement. The sump-pump has no visible exit/drainage. As far as I know, it just will back up and drain into the window well. I have asked 5 different times & provided days I will be home for someone to come and show me how/where it drains out. I have gotten no resolution. The dirt all started to wash away around the egress window. Again, I provided dates and times when I will be home for them to add dirt and they never showed. I ended up buying dirt myself. I also bought a plastic cover for my well from Menards. The fact I do not know where/how sump pump drains out I wanted to protect myself from debris and flooding. This company installed the window and looks good. But the fact they do not care to address the little issues that have happened, makes me concerned they would not bother with the big issues if they happen. I wanted a complete basement finish. I hired them for the egress window to start. I will not hire them for the complete finished basement.
