On July 24th, 2018 I had a mold test conducted on two units of a duplex that I had just recently purchased; Dean, the owner and CEO of ProCare, was the employee who conducted these tests. One of the key factors for hiring ProCare for the mold inspection and paying the premium price of $898.00 for a mold test on my newly purchased duplex was due to the seemingly good reviews about ProCare; sadly, my experience has been anything but pleasant! A high-level breakdown of my experience and the root cause of this complaint is as follows: On the 24th, Dean Mahlstedt, owner and CEO of ProCare Services, came to my property to perform a mold test with a piece of equipment called an instascope; I was told that ProCare is one of the only companies in the Midwest to have this equipment, and that the benefits to using this type of test, albeit very high priced, is that it is a non-intrusive test that supposedly (I never received my final reports) generates very detailed results, as well as containing an analysis of the results and metrics used. Dean’s, and ultimately ProCare Services, overall presentation of the business's expertise during the multi-hour test was respectable; unfortunately, as aforementioned, this pleasant presentation was short lived since I never received the final product that I paid $898.00 for… As of today, October 9th, 2018, I have yet to have receive my final reports from Dean, nor have I been paid the courtesy of having my several phone calls, emails, and text messages returned. This is not how a business should be operated! To make my self very clear, I will be pursing a full refund for a product that I actually never received; if a refund is not promptly returned to me I will be pursuing this misrepresentation in another fashion and will be compensated for all additional expenses that follow. I am beyond disappointed in ProCare and will make an active effort to inform others of their services. To sum this up for those who may be considering using ProCare: DO NOT DO IT! If you have money to wasted and you like being ripped off, then ProCare might be the company for you.

Dean is an expert in his field that went above and beyond in customer service, knowledge and professionalism. I felt like he cared about my family as his own. He offered referrals for other supportive people for our project. He was also very cooperative with my hectic schedule.

They did a great job, showed up on time.

They do a good job. They're efficient and conscientious on what they're doing.

They did an efficient job, knowledge with what they are doing and very thorough. We were on vacation and come home to a finished job. We would highly recommend them!

Highly recommend, they are very professional, courteous and they always clean up well their work.
