We had them paint the whole interior of our house because their price was relatively low.. But you do get what you pay for; the work was of poor quality. Very little prep. The owners said they would be here painting but they rarely were; it was a stream of different painters that were clearly subs and most were not too invested in any quality at all. The trim started chipping and peeling right away, due to the lack of proper prep. In the end, it was even less expensive; they charged us for MUCH MUCH MUCH more paint than they used.

The painters were nice but the job seemed to have been rushed. The trim work was sloppy and there were numerous touch ups needed. They left for a very lengthy lunch and upon return one guy rushed to finish. Unfortunately I had to leave before the job was completed and could not address concerns. There was also a miscommunication with the contract and what the job entailed. We tried to contact them to address concerns and never got a call back.

"The reason we left the job for a lenghtly "lunch" was to pick up our son which the Nicole was well aware of and had no problem with that at the time. Not sure what the miscommunication was with the contract, everything was done according to the contract. If anything was incorrect on the contract it was that there were 9 doors to paint and we some how ended up painting 11 with no additional compensation. The customer called back in mid November regarding trim and exterior doors. The trim was not sloppy, it needed an additional coat and we do not paint exterior doors in the cold fall, we were not going to paint another coat on the trim for free"

We haven't had the outside done as of yet with it being winter, but we did have him paint some interior walls in the interim. He was very prompt, polite and professional. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to someone else or use his services again.

Chris was professional and friendly. The other person working with him who answered the emails wasn't always clear. The holes that were patched were NOT well done, but the paint job was done in a very timely manner at the price quoted.

"We have never attempted to communicate with this customer via email, we only contacted this customer by telephone. The board that this customer wanted patched was completely rotted and he was aware of that, but he did not want to spent the additional cost to replace the board."

On a scale of 1 - 10 I would rate Pro Coat a 20. These guys are unbelievable. Attention to detail is the key here. The owner checked the job if not working ot it, every day. They are true gentlemen. They went above and beyond; making repairs, clean up everyday and the quality of work is excellent.
