"Thanks Mike. Your neighbor did call Thanks!"
"Thanks Misses D. Anything was better than what you had before. Lol"
"Thanks Lucy! I'm happy there are understanding people out there!! Call me in the spring for that deck."
"This is not what happen. This homeowner was a nightmare to work for from the beginning. The job was supposed to start in the end of October. We had problems getting funds from the homeowner and he always was in our way. He tried to general contract the job himself and would continuously take work out of the contract to save money and do it himself. He would constantly call the police on his own neighbor and I felt so bad for the poor guy (A retired landscaper). He was supposed to make a payment after we were forced to pour his concrete in the middle of January and he failed to do so. We know about quality and we understand that an early and cold winter will slow this job down. He was rushing the process and turned this job upside down. I want quality over quantity. He wanted me to stay, however I was forced to leave because he wanted us to put siding up in 10° weather. He didn't care. All he would have done was complain after the siding would have been coming off in the spring because it was put on in the winter. I have good ratings because I make good decisions. This guy is a cancer. ALL CONTRACTORS STAY AWAY. The only reason why there was a Barr to work in Westlake is because I didn't Re-register on January 1, 2018. Otherwise, we would be working in Westlake. This homeowner obviously has a control issue as you can tell from this review and him putting a story together in the news with another homeowner to try and ruin us. This is not going to ruin us. We do 70 jobs a year and he is the cancer and always will be. We failed inspection because we never finished the job; do to the annoyance of the homeowner. We had very minor corrections to take care of that were easy. We had no choice but to walk away because he was uncontrollable and destroying his job. We also have documents which I've been showing my new customers when I meet them. All the text messages I sent him saying "please don't make me pour in these bad conditions". I would actually send him radar images. This is not who we are. Deep down inside he knows it. Ive moved on and so have my clients."
"Thanks Stacey! I hope you are enjoying your two bathrooms and new laundry room we did as well!!!"
"I'm glad to hear that you guys are satisfied overall. For the homeowners looking at this review; we were backed up 1 month because Kraftmaid Cabinetry was backed up 1 month and we needed to finish another job to start this job. Big suppliers sometimes deliver doors that are damaged. However, Kraftmaid is the leader in cabinetry and the homeowner has been contacted to receive his doors. Kraftmaid takes 2 months to manufacture all cabinets and doors. Sometimes small mistakes are made in regards to the water line but we figured it out before we finished the job. The issue we had was the house was on a slab and we had to turn all water down and it was a 50/50 chance to figure out what pipe to put water line on. We've obviously installed 100 water lines before. As far as the granite goes; if we are running late the granite is running late."
"Thanks Rich. You were easy to work with. Havnt heard from you. Hope all is well!!"
"Thanks Amy. I just realized you left this a year later. Oh boy!! We already came back and did your kit hen. Where's my review for that?? Lol"
"Unfortunately, the Homeowners remodeled their whole kitchen in white. White cabinets, white countertops, white backsplash, white ceilings and white trim. The existing walls required a lot more painting and sanding to try and make them smooth to match our new drywall. (Which made the paint look sloppy). The homeowner did not want to spend the extra money for two more coats of paint and labor. Sometimes jobs require a little more attention. (Older homes etc...) I tried to help with the design process and Brian [Consumer name withheld at their request] did not want to hear about it. This brought on regret and frustration from the start. They consulted and hired their own granite supplier (before hiring me), and were supposed to Coordinate there installers about the loose cabinet. We kept the stand alone cabinet loose because installers wanted to make sure it lined up on the peninsula. At the end of the day there kitchen in my opinion turned out too white (also white backsplash) . Brian says that I was the cheapest price and that is because he did not want to pay his change orders. These were Necessary because of discoveries added to the scope of work. To all my homeowners that are reading this review keep in mind the scope of work we agree on and follow through the whole job. I think if you look at all my great ratings you can tell these people could not be satisfied no matter what we did. I go above and beyond to make my customers happy. Lastly, if I don't like something on a job I will do it again. We laid down paper on there new floors a few days after we did them and that was a bad idea. I simply did not like the finish after job so I decided to pay to have them redone. That's what I do to make my customers happy. I tried to contact Brian and I told him I still would do anything to make him happy."
"Sometimes we get busy like every other good builder. I try to make it on time to every job and do quality work. Thats all that matters in the end. I hope that you enjoy your deck. Thanks!!"
