SANTIAGO built an second house from the ground up for me in my rear yard. IN 2020 through Covid, price hikes, materials and labor shortages. He did an excellent job. Found ways to reduce costs from the original building plans without affecting aesthetics or quality. Very easy to work with and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

The customer service was very good. They were helpful and flexible in accommodating my schedule that kept changing due to delays by other contractors. The price was competitive. The work was of decent quality, but they did not do things that were agreed upon. They did a patchy, uneven paint job that is nothing short of an eyesore, and they didn't protect my blinds while spraying drywall texture, so my blinds are permanently damaged. They did not re-install ceiling insulation as discussed. They didn't provide a final invoice with actual material quantities, etc. We were able to negotiate a discount due to the poor appearance of the finished product, but I would have much rather paid full price for a job done right.

He kept me fully informed by text when he was delayed, then went through my entire list of jobs competently and efficiently.

Santiago was professional, courteous and pleasant to work with. He confirmed the day before the appointment which is a plus. And texted when he was on the way. He took his time and was thorough with the job. We will be acquiring his services again.

Santiago came with a trainee which became more helpful for me because while he was training him, I was learning the work myself. They both did the job (I had 6 smoke alarm detectors that needed replacements and christmas lights set up outside the house) and were very courteous and cleaned up after their work. I also believe they are reasonably priced.

I was contacted right away after my initial call. Santiago came out the next day to look at what I wanted to have repaired and gave me an estimate. Two days later the work is completed and well done. I will call him again for other work that comes up.

Santiago was prompt, thorough, and courteous. He explained what he was doing while he was clearing the pipeline. He also offered tips on the dos and don'ts to keep the pipes clear.

He came out to fix my shower door, which had a broken hinge. He knew exactly what to do, had to improvise the broken part (because there is no replacement part available), and installed it in under 30 minutes. He knew exactly what to do and I am very satisfied with his work.

Review by Carol C., Oakland, CA Project: Hire a plumbing and handyman Santiago Martinez was extremely professional when he came to look at the bathroom floor downstairs (in-law unit) that needed replacement after the toilet overflowed because of clogged sewer tree roots. He replaced the floor boards and picked out the beautiful marble design vinyl linoleum that replaced the original floor perfectly as well as installed it in the hallway and closet and even put in wall boards and trim that had been missing and had some water damage. He also had to remove and replace the bathroom sink and toilet after he installed the floor. When the job was done, he cleaned up the area and took away all the old scraps. His estimate was well within my limited budget and I can not thank him enough for making this very stressful project come out so beautifully. I would certainly recommend him to all homeowners.
