The Pro Energy audit was an education. Checking for gas leaks, identifying insulation and air filtration issues, Doug is extremely thorough and professional. Although he knows all about high-end, cutting-edge HVAC technology, he can identify simple changes that an average homeowner can do on a budget. Also diagnosed a sewer gas leak of which I was unaware. He offered a lot of useful tips that I am acting on. VERY happy I invested in this audit.

Having the energy audit was a really great experience. We knew we had issues with air leakage but seeing them really lets you know what s happening. More surprising is the areas that are found to be leaking. We have a closet that causing major issues and we would have never known. We have improper insulation over a soffit area for a built in shelf area and that is causing a lot of cold in the upstairs too. We would have never known without the audit. We are excited to get the report so we can see exactly what is recommended to remedy all of our problem areas for a more efficient home.

I recommend this home energy audit to every homeowner. Doug is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his work. The report that is generated is comprehensive and helpful in determining what to prioritize in future home energy improvements. It is a good investment.

I choose ProEnergy because they would have an unbiased opinion as they were not in the insulation business. I was very pleased with the whole process and would recommend Doug to other people. It was a good experience and well worth the money.

Doug was amazingly thorough in performing the audit. He spent at least 2 hours going through the house and analyzing windows, doors, furnace, water heater, etc. He found a small gas leak at the water heater and determined the water heater was so old it could let go at any minute. After the audit, he came back to review the results of his audit with me. He had compiled a huge report with photos, charts, etc, and spent a solid two hours reviewing all of his findings with me. Doug was incredibly professional throughout the entire process and answered all of my questions regardless of how basic they were. I can't recommend him highly enough.
