The handyman quoted me 3-4 hours but spent 7.5 hours working. Got all of the jobs done, but apparently none of them were as straight forward as expected, making the time longer. However, I think he should have checked with me to see if I wanted him to spend all of that extra time and money before moving forward. He did not clean up very well either.

$75 per hour and got a big job done in only 4 hours for my drywall repairs on my ceiling for can lighting. Terry was able to match my texture on ceiling as well.

I would never hire Promaster again. Charged over $200 , 2 visits, plus I ordered and paid for my own parts. All of this to replace a roller in a pocket door. If they call them professionals at fixing doors - like I was told. It should not take 2 hours to determine that the part is not available locally and they should know where to order. Fair price should have been one hour max per visit and that is bring generous! A really professional should take over 2 hours!!!!

"Anu, As I told you in our initial call, we would need to look at the wheels before we could purchase replacements. There are hundreds of styles and sizes. Most of these are carried at local hardware stores. However, your doors were not a common style and it wasn't until we had attempted to find the correct one that we realized it needed to be ordered. In order to appease your displeasure after our first visit, I stated specifically that we would install the wheels when they arrived at no charge or not charge for the 1st hours of his 2nd visit, which we honored. You also failed to advise in your review that in addition to the pocket door repairs, our technician also repaired the vanities in your bathrooms. The repairs for your pocket doors actually was a $106.00 and the rest of the charges was for repairing your vanities."
