WORST EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES! DO NOT HIRE THEM !!! John the GM, John the Salesman, and Foreman/Dispatcher Sam are all Liars and Crooks. We hired them for a cross country move from Huntington Beach, CA. To West End , North Carolina in April 2022 . We were told our load would be the ONLY load in the Truck from Point A to Point B . Initial load was ok . Care was taken and I have pictures of our furniture ( less than 1 year old and cost $15,000.00) properly loaded in truck. I had to pay $6000.00 ( 50%) cashiers check up front and the balance of $5600,00 CASH upon Delivery that was promised April 1 -3 , depending on travel issues. This is where the lies begin. Our Load was taken back to the warehouse in Santa Ana, unloaded , tagged, and reloaded with 3 other east coast customers , not what was agreed upon verbally. My wife and I are disabled and we both drove cross country in 2 separate cars. It took us 5 days . We had little or no communication with Driver or with Sam (Foreman) during our trip . When we got to North Carolina and checked into our hotel the Driver, Eric, had completely gone AWOL and would not answer the phone. Nobody at Pro-Movers knew his whereabouts for 2 days? Finally Sam told me that the Driver TURNED around in Oklahoma, drove to Arizona, and quit on the spot. The helper attempted to drive the truck back to a familiar area in Palm Springs only to get the truck stuck off an abandoned wash near Big Bear. The truck sat there unattended and abandoned for 3 days. We were scared and furious that we could do nothing and that PRO Movers did not seem to care . Sam said they would get another driver and have our load delivered in 1 week . That would be 10 days later than the original date promised . We had already taken possession of our new home and had ZERO furniture and only the belongings we could fit in cars. The other driver, Dana, called me and stayed in contact with me all the way to N.C. When he arrived on 4/11/22 and opened the back door of the truck, our lives changed immediately. Broken items, glass, porcelain, etc came pouring out the back end. Dana (who was by himself) could not get the back door all the way up due to items being crammed into the rear of the truck. This was NOT the truck that picked up our load in H.B . Item after item came out damaged or destroyed . Heavy boxes were reloaded and packed on top of smaller boxes caving in those boxes and crushing everything in them. Dana was so mad he kept apologizing and saying he had never seen anything like this before. I had to assist Dana with many of the heavy items despite my disability. After everything was unloaded, we noticed that every piece of our furniture was either badly damaged or destroyed altogether. Dana wrote a personal letter describing the damage for me to use in claim . We paid Pro Movers a total of $11,600.00 for them to ruin our lives and when I FINALLY spoke to GM John, he promised to take care of us and said how sorry he was. Well , after that call , John refused to take any of my calls. We filed a claim and Pro Movers offered us $372.00 as compensation but only if we did not write bad reviews. We have declined and filed a lawsuit in Orange County and submitted a counter offer which was denied by John. I have reached out numerous times to the GM to do the right thing and refund our money. Both my wife and I are seniors and living on a fixed income. John refuses to respond back to us. FOLKS, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you value your belongings. Trust me !!! Tim H

We were generally pleased with Pro Moving and Storage for our move from So Cal to Oregon. The Oregon crew was excellent! Fast, courteous and they delivered a forgotten item the next day. Both crews arrived approximately 2 hours later than estimated. The So Cal crew wrapped some of our furniture so tightly that legs were bent. They also broke a piece off of a wooden bed frame and did not offer to fix it. Small issues.

The company did a good job of helping me pack out my home. However, after getting my items to their storage the cost changed tremendously and the manager over the moving kept changing the delivery date. After a while he wouldnâ t return my calls. I had to call the manager who took my order to get my items moved. It took 18 days to get my items. The delivery guys did a good job setting up my items, but failed to mention that some of my items were scratched up, chipped, and broken! I will not recommend Pro Movers to anyone!
