They tore up my old fence and left concrete chunks all over my sidewalk without hauling off or sweeping up after their work. The OWNER drove by to see how they did and used my Lowe?s brown yard bags, my shovel, and my dustpan to ?help ME? clean it all up! No discount offered for me left with a mess to clean up!! Horrible customer service!!!!! Horrible!!

Derrick is a great, honest, hard-working job boss. He is intent on seeing that the customer, even picky ones like me, are completely satisfied in the end. He is a joy to talk with and his crew were as well. He is a terrific welder and an excellent problem-solver. Would recommend!

I cannot recommend the company. A one day job took seven days due to mistakes and using the wrong supplies. (2.25" nails used for framing instead of 3.5 nails, a broken post installed with screws trying to hold it together, gate openings built to the wrong size, etc.) Communication was poor. Clean up was practically non-existent. Nails were all over the street, my yard, as well as my neighbors yards, along with supply and food containers, and articles of clothing hanging from my tree. In the final walk through it was pointed out that a section of pickets were installed very crooked, and the drop pin for the gate didn't function properly. The owner said he'd send someone out that Wednesday to correct those issues, he collected payment, and no fixes or further communication has happened.

Wood Fence Repair
I needed a repair due to someone running into my wood fence with their car. I got multiple quotes. I chose the estimate that I got from Derrick because the estimate was for the complete job - repair, stain, haul off the old material - everything. Tim came out and did a great job. Fast, courteous and professional. Derrick came out after the job was completed to ensure I was happy with the results. I couldn't be happier.

They were professional from the bidding process, the installation of the fence and follow up with the inspection and items needed to be taken care of. I would recommend this company to anyone. In fact, my next door neighbor is hiring them to do their fence. Since I am an older widow, they were extremely kind and considerate of my wishes or questions. Besides all this, they build a mighty good fence.

Job was completed as promised during initial visit with Casey; however, communication and administrative functions require improvement. The estimate states, "We accept payment by check, cash and credit. Please send checks to our main address or call with credit card info", so the next day I sent a check to the address on the estimate. Additionally, I asked the work foreman what was the payment process and he said he didn't know reinforcing my understanding to mail the check. I was surprised when someone showed up at my door the next evening to collect payment. Overall, a good job contacting me and providing costs; however, poor communication among employees at ProTex and poor communication with customer. The work crew showed up without notice and started the job without giving me time to secure my animals.

Little to no communication. Showed up unannounced a week later @ 830 am: tried calling neighbors to keep their pets indoors, but by 845 they had cut the phone line cable/internet/TV were out 2 days. Owner Casey called for CC # to pay bill and said he would deduct cable company service call to repair the line, but charged full amount withing minutes after hanging up. With so many 5 Star Fence companies on Hm Advisor, I strongly recommend staying clear.

Derek and team were professional and courteous. Derek came by and gave me an estimate and with a few days came by to replace my fence. The team did an an excellent job even though it rain a bit and was able to finish the job. I highly recommend this company. Good work to guys.
