They never showed up on time, we are constantly trying to con me into having unnecessary work done (the job ballooned from $825 to $3250), and failed to honor a prepaid contract to remove a stump. The owner arrived unannounced 2 weeks late to remove the stump, demanded an additional $600, and when presented with their prepaid signed contrasaid it is not worth using my $50,000 equipment to remove your stump, then stormed off with his crew. Had I been aware of their F rating from the Dayton BBB I would have never hired them. They are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Called me same day and came out within 20 minutes. Offered me an exceptional rate to do remove 2 large trees and take the wood away right then. Was done within 2 hours and cleaned up afterwards. Very great service.

James responded to my inquiry very quickly. Earlier that day, I had a 5-star rated arborist give me a quote and I was hoping to get a diagnosis of why my pine tree died. That arborist couldn't tell me what happened,. When James showed up, he spotted the issue immediately (killed by a borer insect). There were tiny holes all over the trunk. Before hiring Productive Tree & Mulch, I researched James' diagnosis, and it was spot on. James gave me a fair price on removing the dead tree along with some much-needed pruning of a few of my other trees. He also gave me great tips for keeping my trees healthy. He and his crew returned within a day to do the work. They cleaned up the mess nicely. I spoke to the owner Joel by phone, and he is super nice, too. I complimented him on having such an educated and hard-working crew. I definitely would recommend these guys again. They did great!

This company did a fantastic job for me. Their crew communicated with me during the entire project to insure that I was happy with their work. I can say that I would recommend them to anybody needing tree/lawn/drainage work. All crew members were polite and professional. They also were very fair as far as their costs. Productive Tree and Mulch tackled a HUGE woods project to clear dead wood, remove live trees which were becoming a danger as they were uprooting and leaning over, and trim back branches of live trees that were hanging over the fence of a neighbors property line. Joel was such a pleasure to work with throughout the project. He gave updates with photos as the job progressed and we felt he priced the job fairly. He is honest and reliable and only charged us when the job was completed with a walk-through before payment. His crew showed up every day. I would definitely call Joel again!

Friendlyv group of guys did a pretty good job of trimming.and took down a meduim size tree. The clean up was good with exception of leaving their water botttles everywhere . Only one thing kind of erked me about the whole service was that they moved two of my personal ladders and buried one behind cut up logs and used the better of the two to use it for the job without permission
