Professional Maintenance Service

This is a Fly by Night Company. Beware I couldn't accurately rate them because some basic things were good but not others. I chose this company because all reviews were good. He was very nice over the phone but unfortunately most people don't know good quality craftsmanship. My brothers are top notch builders who are highly respected in my community for their quality work and I'm not just saying that because they are my brothers, I'm saying that because I've talk to many big time developers who put my brothers on a pedestal for the impeccable work they do. Many years ago, they started out building houses and did that for years and have since moved on to commercial multimillion dollar projects and have many men working under them. The only reason why I mention this is because to me, their opinion matters greatly. I don't like to ask my brothers for help because I know that they are extremely busy so I decided to hire someone else to do the small jobs I needed done. First of all Bill didn't do any work himself, he just supervised 2 other guys. My gripes start here. They installed my microwave fine, hung a mirror fine and took out old screen and replaced new one fine except I had to take a razor to it later to cut off the many threads that were hanging out on the edges which made it look sloppy and unprofessional but I didn't notice it until later. I shouldn't have had to do that. I myself am a perfectionist and take pride in anything I do, I wouldn't have left it like that If I was getting paid to put the screen in. I needed lattice installed a few different places. . Bill left to run to the store before asking me what lattice I wanted. I had his men call him to specify what I wanted once I notice he left. I shouldn't have had to do that, he should have checked with me before he left in such a hurry. Later in the week my brother stopped by and laughed. He said it was a shit job and told me why and how he would have done it because if you don't do it right, lattice can shrink and bend which is why you don't just nail it on to something. He said the screws were too big and stuck out too much. The spacing in-between the segments of lattice weren't even flush, some of them were spaced apart. In some sections, they didn't use one piece of lattice and had to cut two end pieces and add them on. If we didn't have my brother look at it, we wouldn't have known what is right or what is wrong which is why we tried to hire someone who knew what they were doing. I figured something was wrong by the way it looked but I couldn't say for sure since I know nothing about this kind of work which is what Fly-By-Nights rely on. I also asked them to put in a piece of wood in a broken window and he kept saying ok, but quickly changed the subject a bunch of times. I also told him I needed a hardwood floor removed and replaced in a particular area which he also kept dismissing. We needed our shed done over and asked him to give us a price. He called a left me a ballpark figure on my voicemail. I returned his call and left him a voicemail and said we wanted them to come back and put trim on the lattice to make it look more finished and put a piece of wood in the window but wasn't sure if we wanted to do the shed this year or next year and he never called me back. Also the receipt for the job looked like something you would get at a laundromat. No details, nothing. They seemed to leave our house in a big hurry like letâ s take the money and run before they notice any mistakes. Very strange!

One of the things that made them shine is they went out above and beyond to give me exactly what I was looking for. The Awnings they put over my garage door was exactly what I envisioned.

They were friendly respectful kept their word did what they was said they would do at a fair price. I would hire them again

They need to be more honest about the work they are doing and they need to listen to their customers.

Terrible never would I even want these people around my house Everything they did did not have to be done wanted top dollar problem was never fixed left my house a mess had to hire someone to clean. all the water that all my appliances was in and pay to have the septic pumped when they was saying the toilet was plugged what a mess I am 71 and the septic man said the took advantage and never should of done what they did.

Would happily have this man do maintenance on my home but would never recommend Home Advisor to anyone. Complete disregard for their employees as home advisor gives a quote and than decide how much of that quote would be paid directly to the actual worker. Complete disregard for their contractors ! Home Advisor is NOT. a licensed contractor that has the right to decide themselves how much a personâ s work should be valued and how much Home Advisor should pocket as far as cost !!!!! Complete sham !!!!!!!!

Bob is great. He is very reasonable and did a great job for all the handyman issues i needed done. He is an electrician by trade which was great for me. Wonderful job on fixing dry wall also.

They are very knowledgeable on a variety of tasks. I'm thoroughly pleased with the service they provided. I plan on using them again.

Well Matt started off as a Wonderful handyman, but I think that he got higher paying jobs. And he left my job unfinished. I am waiting for screens to be installed. That cant be done until some finish work is done. Also, he installed lattice work but only stained one side. I have tried to contact him, he responded once, said that he would be here today. Sunday 11/15, he didnt show up. I am so disappointed.

Bill fixed a leaky roof in our breezeway and a few electrical problems in one visit. He and his team were prompt and professional, and the work was reasonably priced. I will definitely hire them again.
